Not enough posters have tried the CD-i... which is a good thing because it was a terrible system with an abysmal controller. Should win this poll by rights. :P

hmm.... find it funny that so many people voted for the Wii controller, but not the Philips CD-i... as the CD-i Controller is pretty much the same shape, but with worse button layout and no motion or Gyroscope Capability..

Still, good replies everyone, especially to those who have told what it is about the Controller they voted for bothers them the most! keep em coming!

I find that the larger the controller the more comfortable it is to use. The remember the original Xbox controller got smaller and that was not comfortable either. Especially as I was playing Morrowind for about 10 hours a day back then. I was glad I kept the original controller when I had to replace my Xbox.

This, by far. The damn thing was a little brick.

Other than that I can easily handle all other pads, flaws and all. Most had small benefits over, some were straight better in design (Snes vs Mega Drive pad: Snes had many more buttons, better grip, better dpad).

The current Xbox360 pad is the best one yet imo, but this is three generations now that they haven't added any new buttons (barring the unimportant guide button, this can be done via interfacing instead) , pissed me off a ton as we need at least 4 more for more complex games. meh, no way I'm supporting M$ Xbox division anymore now anyway.

Where are you going to put 4 more buttons?

It seems like ps1, ps2, and ps3 could be narrowed down to dual-shock controllers. My least favorite controller that I've used is the GameCube controller.

I kind of like the GameCube controller. It's not that bad, and it does feel quite comfortable to hold and use. Same with Dualshock controllers. But I think I have small hands (I think; people have remarked how I have long fingers, and I don't know if it's even possible to have long fingers and small hands), so that's probably why.

The Xbox controller(s) are quite infuriating for me, though.

I think I was just not used to the button and stick layout than I thought it was uncomfortable.
