my math teacher "disappeared" on April 20th. A few classmates had to go to Ottawa and saw our match teacher at Parliament Hill. Freakin' stoner. Comes to class high sometimes.

Elementary school? Some girl in my friends class dying of a disease (they gave no more details than that)

High School, classmate/good friend of my friends died of cancer. Aside from that nothing horrible aside from the usual stupid stuff (kids lighting a dumpster on fire or pulling the fire alarm, fights etc)

Oh one kid busted for drugs did try to run after he had already been cuffed... He got tackled from the side while running through a doorway (kinda almost movie like he makes it through the door suddenly cop from nowhere pow)

So that was amusing.

Oh and my friends got in [censored] for performing uh "gift" in a box for the talent show (they used the word gift not what it was on snl) after the librarian complained...

College? Hmm nothing horrible that I can think of. Thankfully been a fairly calm experience so far (Excluding time working at the hospital obviously...You see some weird stuff there).

A guy with a clown mask murdered a chick in the city where my college is. Some scary stuff. And this is why you don't walk home drunk at 3 am kids.

Or at least not without a Bat mask on.

Some advlts were spreading lies and brainwashing children in my school.
And this went on ALL. THE. TIME.

That's the worst thing that comes to mind.

More like religion. At least over here it is. You are only thought one religion and you have no other choice but to learn it, practice it, and then go for the exam. You can not write down your own opinion, that would lose you marks.

Now that I think about it, and I've had a few drinks, I remember two crazy fights that happened in my high-school.

This larger kid was givin' a small guy a hard time. This was going on for a while. The small guy was 18 (Or 19? I don't remember.) so he was reluctant to put the large kid in his place. One day, a racial slur pushes the small guy too far. He hits the large kid in the gut then kicks out his knee, dropping the large kid down kneeling next to some lockers. The small guy kicked the kids face into the locker door. The locker door was bent in with the top hinge snapped. It shattered the kids face. The small guy was charged with attempted murder.

The other fight was between two minors over some girl. Both guys were about the same size and they each threw each other threw a few panes of glass outside of our school library. It cut 'em up pretty bad and made for a great show. The crowd was so large that the police had a hard time getting through to stop it.

I also remember this girl going on Maury talkin' about how her step-father got her preggers. I guess she didn't expect anyone to watch it. She came to school the day after it aired and was sent home early never to return from shame.

We used to have a religion class in elementary school and had to say the lords prayer every morning. Now that I think back I wonder how they could do that since I see the debacle in the news about whether it should be taught in school or not but I already was when I was a kid  .
Too keep it on topic religion class was by far the worst thing about elementary school.

Makes me glad to be Finnish. Religious education here are more like Alternate History lessons that not even the teachers take seriously. "According to [X]", "allegedly" and "...though history has proven otherwise" are very common phrases in Finnish religious education, at least the one I received. Expressing opinions was encouraged.

Its the same here, despite being a Church of England school its made very clear that what you are learning are beliefs and not facts.

I don't know how true it is, but I think the worst thing about my school happened a few years before my time. My English teacher, among his many stories, told us one about a strange student who was extremely good at chemistry and made his own bomb. All fun and games until he put it in a bin at the school and tried to blow the damn place up. Not funny really, but nobody got hurt and it was just a scare. Pretty big scare at that though...

Other than that though mine was just as ordinary as most schools: six scandals, fights, drugs, death (someone fell on a train track, another jumped).

Most of us came out fine though. Me included ^_^

Once a car exploded in the school car park. That was pretty crazy.

HEAPS of drugs in our school.

There is this gang of girls that smoke down at the far end of the netball courts every lunch.

I have been asked to film a six tape for two people going out. I was quite taken aback.

It was discovered that the art room was a marijuana growing facility.

There is dope shack in bush surrounding our school

A kids was stabbed in the leg by a pencil and died.

Just some of things that occur in my school.

When i was in vocational school there werer two suicides very close to each other. Didn't know either of them, but it being pretty small school it was taken pretty hard. Nothing else really stands out, the typical school things of the late 90's happened, of course  And the "typical things" are quite different around here than eslewhere, i bet :hehe:

I have some things at my college (there's alot to talk about). My first year, I stayed at a dorm, big mistake, drugs, six, partying till 5 AM the morning, there was a guy who overdosed int he dorm right next door! My roommate was a party-animal so I had the dorm pretty much to myself.

My "professors" were not much better. 95% have political views other than than my own (and try to shove it down my throat), the science teachers don't tolorate views other than the view they "think" is correct.

My first year svcked, but I had smarts next year, I rented a place with my buddy, I changed almost all my classes, and I'm fine now.

However, I keep hearing things about Dorm life that made me glad I'm gone, someone lit a dumpster on fire, there was a small religious fight when someone desecrated a Star of David, lets say the mosque wasn't there the next morning. Someone was caught doing pot in class, I wonder how these people get into college int he first place.

Our Religious Education teacher - who had actually baptised a number of people in my class - never came back one-day, had a nervous breakdown and tried to run over some policemen after they pulled him over for something; last I heard is that he was staying at the local mental hospital.

Oh and someone [censored] themselves in Year 7 - I have no idea what the America equivelant is, people are 11 - 12 years old.

Oh, boy...

Someone caught smoking pot out by the rifle range (air rifle range... some idiot got shot and now we have to use air rifles)

There was a fight between two people about who gets a piece of fried chicken

someone almost got killed in the bathroom, smashed in the face with a hand dryer. This bathroom is now inaccessible during lunch.

Some crazy dude killed both his parents with a claw hammer, stuffed their bodies in the closet and proceeded to throw a party. My friend was there.

EVERYONE has the exact same Pink Floyd t-shirt and wears it every day... I am the only one with a tardis shirt.

some people were puff, puff, passing on the back of the bus. it was full of smoke.

someone sat in the back seat of the bus buck naked. it was funny, yet creepy at the same time.

two friends of mine got into a fistfight and they both walked away with their faces REALLY messed up. They both went to jail. they both got bailed out.

a group of girls got into a knife fight over a boy.

These are only the main ones.

At my high school there was a bomb threat once, nothing ever happened. There was a bunch of fights. The worst was a guy jumped from about 10 feet up and jacked a guy in the face and his head cracked open and he had a seizure. He lived.

When was this? The same exact thing happened like 5 months ago!

Nothing much happens at my school, at least I don't hear about it. The people in my school aren't all "goody goody" but they're too self absorbed to care. People don't even "crowd" fights at my school, they happen with people just passing by. People don't care anymore. ;3

This happened last year. I remember it.

In JROTC, we have a rifle team. It would be fun if I got toshoot something larger than a .177 lead pellet that makes the gun more like a long-range hole puncher.
