Worst thing to happen in your school

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 4:12 am

This thread is dedicated to all the bad things that you, someone you know, or someone you have heard of done at your school... (Got the idea from another forum) I'll start.

Two kids hid a Playboy behind the bathroom mirror... Long story short: Teachers found it... Kids didn't get in trouble....

Probably not as bad as some people here... So go ahead and post away! :)

Beloved math teacher and head of the high school hiking club had a sudden heart attack and fell over dead onto a student he was helping during a test.

A student in the class ahead of me committed suicide. I knew him and hung out with him some. Honestly, he seemed quiet and whatnot, but I never thought he would commit suicide.

That day was very....very sad.

Oh wow I have a lot of these to post.

Last year a kid lit a trash can on fire in the bathroom and almost burned the school down.

One time a kid pleasured himself in the back of the Biology class.

Two other kids got busy under the bleachers at PE a few years back.

One of my friends got busy in the guys bathroom, her dad walked in on them...Her dad is the Principle.

A guy got expelled for selling marijuana to a 7th grader.

Someone took a toilet out of one of the bathrooms and put it on the roof of the school.

Some dudes broke into the lunchroom on a weekend and stole all the food and a few hundred dollars. They were middle schoolers.

And there's probably more but I cant think of them at the moment. What's sad is there's only 300 people in my High School. 400 in the middle school that's attached to it.

Someone I used to know threw a table out a window on the second floor smashing it. Pretty intresting. Also someone repainted the headteachers car.

Lets see, there this student that love this student teacher, student teacher love student, stuff happens, someone peek and spread the word, and within the week, student got expel and student teacher got into seriously trouble.

Or the amount of gang fighting, six in bathrooms, or drugs use with apples and pears that force the school to hired cops to patrol the campus.

Or when there was a walkout planned, the said cops that was hired to look after the school call in the SWATs, and there was riot in the outdoor lunch area. Complete lockdown.

Ah, how I do not miss highschool.

My freshman year, there was a major fight between some kids. A cafeteria table was broken.

Before sophomore year, we had a teacher get put in jail for trying to get students in bed. It came out just before the school year started, I was actually scheduled to be in his class that year.

There have been a couple incidents of drunkenness at sports events. I know one kid who was allowed to graduate and then banned from returning to campus because of his number of offenses.

Also in sophomore year, 2 kids were suspended for starting a website for a competition for the hottest girl in school. They appealed and got the suspension reversed. And the fire alarm was triggered by a kid smoking in the bathroom, that was a fun day...we had no way of knowing it wasn't a real fire when we evacuated.

This may be my favorite high school story. We had a pep rally...which always svcks...and it ended with about 20 minutes to go in the school day. They tried to release us back to class. The seniors started chanting "Hell no we won't go" and the entire school joined in. After about 2 minutes of this they actually let everyone go. Unfortunately I still had to wait for the bus, being a little 10th grader and all.

Junior year, the golden helmet that a stone statue of a Spartan (our mascot) wears disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The Spartan statue remains helmet-less to this day. And, a drug sniffing dog (they send them around to all the schools twice a year) got a sent off of someone's truck, and so they tried to make him open it. When he refused the cops broke it open, he had marijuana hidden in his seat covers.

They recently put a gate and a lock in the dugouts, because people liked to go there to get...intimate.

The top story this year, my senior year, is a kid who threw a lit cigarette into a recycling bin and started a fire. The bin got nice and melted and all the paper burned, but no other damage was done. He was given a 365 day suspension for arson.

During my time at school, I've been taught by 2 (now convicted) pedophiles (I won't go into any more detail than that due to the forum's rating). Unfortunately, one of them discovered my affinity to science, and it's because of him that I continued on to do a triple science award...brilliant teacher, but terrible man :/

Had a couple of friends who had to be airlifted to hospital from school due to sports injuries (it was a sports college). One guy got caught in a bundle during lunch and some of the glass from his glasses got jammed in his eye...that was pretty bad.

Other noteworthy things that happened during school include a knife attack, a couple of severe cases of bullying, a fight between the whole school year that resulted in myself and 2 others receiving anger management, me rapping Eminem and B.E.P in front of the whole school, a teacher kicking off and me and a friend having to restrain him and, last but not least, a massive fight with an opposing football (soccer) team when we went to play against them on the other side of the country that resulted in the police being called!

I had fun at school ;)

My son's elementary school was flooded on the second day of school this year. FEMA is recommending that the building be torn down, and they don't expect a new one to be finished until 2014. In the meantime they're renting two old Catholic schools, but the teachers lost everything in their classrooms, and the school lost all of its computers (and smart boards, which were in every classroom).

Or when there was a walkout planned, the said cops that was hired to look after the school call in the SWATs, and there was riot in the outdoor lunch area. Complete lockdown.

There was a near riot at the local high school. It's not the one I went to, but I have mentored there. It started as a http://www.wbng.com/closings/96057229.html and ended with multiple students, administrators, and police officers getting injured.

One guy I knew, though wasn't real close friends with died in a car accident during spring break of our senior year.

Another guy got arrested for murder.

I don't remember any thing else, that was a long time ago.

I was in a special ed program in high school for people who had psychological issues. There's a lot of stuff that went on there, to say the least. A lot of generic dumb stuff (fights, bathroom idiocy, trashcans lit on fire, etc.), but that's how you ended up in the sped program in the first place. When we're all stuck together... Well, things got out of hand on a daily basis. :P

It was many many moons ago, but three things stand out that happened while I was still in school.

1) A fellow two grades ahead of me shot himself in the head...reportedly over a failed relationship. His brother took it pretty hard, never knew the rest of the family, but I suspect that it was equally as tough for them too.
2) A girl in the same grade as I was at a carnival and got on one of the rides, but there was a serious accident while she was on it. Unfortunately she was killed on the ride.
3) Another kid I knew (not very well) was about a month or so away from graduation when at a party (off school grounds) shot and killed a friend of his...I believe alcohol was involved (still not sure whether or not the shooting was intentional.)

Well, the worst I've done and I've never been caught is doing it when I was 14. Now with the being caught, setting the middle school on fire when I was 13.

People spreading a massive amounts of rumors around one person in a attempt to make them suicidal, which has worked on several occasions.

The amount of rapist I see walking around my school, that so happen to be my age. I'm serious when I say this.

The bathroom has gotten lit on fire quite a couple times.

Someone set off a firework inside a classroom. That to did not end well.

Someone tried to set me on fire with a lighter, later his cousin flicked a lighter in a friend of mine's face

A moron managed to set his desk on fire and kinda hasn't been seen since

The usual pot busts/fights/sixual harrasment that you can expect at most American high schools

I'm sure mine's not as bad as some

A girl in the year below me thought it would be a good idea to attempt suicide in the girls changing room... She took a bunch of painkillers and slit her wrists but someone called an ambulance and I think she was okay.

Oh that was my old school. My current school... I saw someone get run over? They didn't hurt themselves though. Much. An ambulance came but they could walk.

A few homicides, a couple suicides, and one or two accidental deaths. I've lost some good friends in highschool.

That's about the worst.

A kid in my year molested a five year old girl (I think it actually happened on school grounds, because my highschool had a child care / development program that doubled as a local kindergarten)
Violent things happened to that kid, obviously.

Besides that, kids were pretty open about their drug use, and would make arrangements to sell it at school, often in front of faculty, though almost nobody was stupid enough to actually bring drugs to school.

There were multiple occurrences of molestation and [censored], including some against very close friends of mine. Unfortunately, not very many violent things happened to the perpetrators.

There were a whole lot of suicide attempts, but AFAIK, none succeeded.

In my freshman year, a lot of girls got killed in a big drunk driving accident. They were all a few years older than me, so I didn't know them at all.

My school had this weird thing called canning, where guys would toss eachother into trashcan. It pretty much was never used as a form of strong vs weak bullying, AFAIK, but was mostly just something particularly dumb jocks did to one another.

There were some fights, but none of the on-campus ones involved weapons or grievous harm, AFAIK.

Mostly fights at my old high school. Some guys got messed up pretty bad sometimes but never anything super serious. A knife was pulled once in the halls but nothing came of it. A friends older brother pooped in the main bathrooms sink then left the water running until someone saw the water running out into the hallway.

I dunno if I count drugs as "bad", but there were certainly lots of people going off the the nearby forest during lunch break. We had a police offer who came in 2-3 times a week to try and "outreach to the community" type [censored] as he put it. Coincidence that it happened after a drug related fight? Cops are full of crap like that but his presence didn't stop people from fighting :P

A year after I'd graduated, a Jewish girl was being increasingly harassed until the guy attempted to light her on fire a few months ago.

That happens a lot at my school. We have at least one a year get drunk and crash into something. We had three this year within like 4 months of each other. Its a popular past time to get wasted on weekends around here. Even though they are dead I find it hard to feel bad for them since it was their own foolish actions that caused it.

About two months ago my ex-girlfriend (girlfriend at the time) threw a party at her house. About 4 freshman girls showed up already hammered, got completely and utterly trashed at the party then http://suwanneedemocrat.com/archive/x1990862360/g000258000000000000be10881f3e5e6a60a26ceff0951b4415c8f4a619.jpg on the way home. None of them died though which is good.

We also have a lot of people sneak alcohol into the school.

We have a thing like that too at our school. Except they call it "Pants-ing" and you're wearing gym shorts your probably wont be soon after you get to school and make it to PE or Gym.
