Is it wrong to feel bad for the Falmer?

Did anybody feel bad for the orcs in LOTR.....I sure didn't.

Good point, because before the events of Daggerfall, Orcs were in the same position as the Falmer, only more visible. They were considered sophisticated cousins of goblins and they were just as aggressive. Now the're largely recognised as a sapient race in Tamrielic society. I can't say I felt sorry for killing them in Orsinium when I went to pick up a letter there and Gortwog said go and fetch it, see if you can survive.

Another reason why I'm seeing Imperials as the lesser of two evils. The Nords pushed the Falmers out of their own land driving them underground only to be betrayed by the Dwemer.
The Imperials decend from the same Nords who pushed the Falmar underground.
