The term "Asian" commonly refers to people of east/southeast Asia, because of their similar appearance. Indians, Arabs and Russians are all pretty different.

I dunno why it's necessary to refer to an Asian as "yellow" though. White/black is just a shorter way of referring to Caucasian/African people, but yellow isn't any shorter than Asian.

You need to make sure that you're cool with someone when you joke about race or else they will be upset..and remember even if their cool..other people may not find your jibes funny.

The only surefire way to never offend anyone is to never say anything..ever.

Personally I don't see a problem. If someone is black they are black scientific fact that can't be disputed, the same as a white person being white. The same applies to someone that has a yellow tint to their skin. It's no different to calling someone tall or short of fat or thin, it's simply a description of their physical appearance.

The difference is that white an black are the accepted terms, where as Asian is the accepted term for Asian peoples. It's not a scientific fact that Asian people are yellow, the only yellow people are in the Simpsons.

I said yellow tint not actually yellow and that also wasn't meant to include all asians because most look brown to me anyway , there are some people that have a certain tint however. Also to make clear I don't call asians yellow I call them asian as you said. Persoanlly I couldn't care less if they were luminous pink, it's how they behave that actually matters

Then again some white people look orange with all the fake tan they use
