Maybe my grandfather wouldn't be such an outrageous desire-less wuss that simply takes orders from others without any personal will or desire of his own, as a way for him to cope with and make excuses for the fact hat he killed a lot of people for the Nazis in WWII. ("I was only following orders and had no personal motivation in it, therefore it's not my fault." In all seriousness though, I tend to agree with Taoist principles on this. Know the yin yang sign? It's purpose is to show that for every good, there is bad, and for every bad, there is good, no matter how small it may be by comparison. In that sense, I'm sure we'd see just as much bad down the line with him gone, albeit in completely different forms and perhaps further down the line than before. As for good? Plenty. Tons of Lives spared, less motivation for the US and Russia to invest so much in the war economy, my grandfather has a spine, perhaps less nukes manufactured than what we have BUT potentially more dropped at once when they're given their first test drive. Given Germany's limitations and circumstances leading up to WWII though, I'm sure it would've rebelled in some way or another with or without him, though it'd be hard pressed to be more destructive than him without his help.

Oh and also there'd be no Hitler reaction vids on YouTube, so less entertainment in the world.
