Do you have any pet peeves or annoyances?

My laptop's fans. Even with a cooling pad when I'm just browsing they internet they're on, off, on, off, on, off, on, off, on, off. The constant "whirrrRRRRRRRRRRRRhmmmmmWwhirrrrRRRRRRhmmm drives me freaking mental.

Heheh. I bought some new-fangled cooling fans for the PC. My room sounds like an airport.

Sounds like you need to adjust the fan settings. Though, I wouldn't know how to do it.

Biggest pet peeve of mine is anyone that spouts religion to others and try to force it on them. I don't give a [censored] what you believe in but I'd be respectful, but don't try to preach to me because I'll tear you a new one.

Talking while I'm watching tv is another big one of mine, or standing in my view. if it happens every once in a while, I'm less grumpy....but when you constantly do it out of habit, I get mad.

Talking about six is fine, we all do it. It's just the people that go on and on.

"Me and my girl friend did the Alaskan Salmon grabber last night. Have you ever done it? Well, we do all kinds of crazy stuff, because we're just crazy six people. I punch my girl friend in the face during six sometimes, just like in Californiacation. Did I tell you how much six we had last night?"

I'm exaggerating, but I know people like that.

Also, the these are normally the people who are really insecure and feel the need to flaunt their relationships constantly. Ridiculous PDA is another pet peeve.

The sound of someone using a hammer. Not because it itself is annoying (though it can be if done excessively), but because it always fools me into thinking someone is knocking on my door.

That reminds me. My brother and I were at some amusemant park several years ago... We were kind of waiting on something so he was laying down on a bench and I was kind of phasing into daydream land...
There was some kind of buzzer in the distance. It sounded eerily like some kind of high school bell... Brother instinctively got up off his bench, and even I took a step in some direction. We both caught ourselves pretty quick, we didn't zone out THAT much. It was funny.

Not a pet peeve, sorry.

Oh, my comment wasn't aimed at anyone on this thread. It was just an extension of six-related pet peeves, since you guys brought it up. :)

I agree with your point about six. I love six, but once it's done, it's done. It's not mystical, it's not evil...it's six. I just know some people who put it on this almighty pedestal and feel the need worship it constantly.

People that complain about things in their life that they could so easily change if they wanted to, and put a little effort into.
I know that this pretty much includes all humans and I don't mind it as a rare occurance, i.e. when someone is annoyed by something, but some people do it a lot more than others, which is when it particularly annoys me.

Also, people that announce ridiculous things that no one cares about on Facebook. ie: "My life has found new meaning, time to make a change! :)" Or "Wish some people would say what they mean to my face."

What the [censored]? What does that even mean? What an utterly arbitrary and pointless thing to share.

Yes! Women who want too much attention or try to uses guys as emotional tampons. Can't tell you how many I've come across. Thankfully only one was able to make me regret it.

Okay. As in women who will lead the dude on thinking that they have a chance when in reality they have no use except to use the guy to help them feel better about themselves.

I get peeved by guys doing this too. Guys that put up with listening to all the problems that women have, in the vain hopes of eventually getting into their pants. Also a man who is being taken advantage of as a distraction for a woman who has recently broken up or will soon break up with their BF's. It irks me.

Edit: Oh and not having a car haha. Twice already I missed out on opportunities of booty call because the location is 6 miles away from me. Never figured a twenty minute drive is a two hour walk
