Do you think Bethesda are suprise at all the Serana love?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:11 am

As title says, do you think Bethesda foresaw the love Serana would recieve from the community, in my opinion she is the best put together (and looking) NPC in the game... and im sure by the amount of petitions to get married to Serana, alot of people agree with me.

Do you hope this will inspire Bethesda to put this amount of work into all future NPC's? I certainly hope so :P

The fact that they let you have the dialog option and she rejects you with the 'its not you its me' speech I think they were hoping for it
as for the other, yeah it'd be nice to see other npc's have as much work put into them as she had

I think any character that you spend that much time with questing you will bound to get fond of, especially if they are a sixy vampire chic ;) so yeah I think they did no that.

^ wait you can ask her to marry you and she says that ...........Skyrim friendzoned

I think they knew, why else would they give you all the dialog options and make it seem as if she wanted to be with you? she obviously enjoys my company and for one reason or another is always glad we are alone in caves together.

I hope. I wish. I don't think they will. Todd's worse than Molyneux; the fact they had a decent NPC for a change made Dawnguard passable for its price. NPC and plot writing are my two big gripes with gamesas; Dawnguard pleasantly surprised me with a good NPC. I expected the sci fi original movie style plot.

I can imagine this during the finishing touches of the game:

"And so, after Serana becomes your companion, she can marry you after a heart fell scene. Considering we made her one of the most developed characters in Skyrim, I think the players who've grown to like her would appreciate it!"

Todd: "...You know that line about, 'it's not you, it's me' that we put in case the players tried to propose to her before the last quest in Dawnguard?"

"Yes..."

Todd: "Yeah...let's make that the line that Serana says if you propose to her after you finish the quest line. It'll be hilarious! The forums would be filled and we could be like: heh, u mad bro? We can be the trolls for once!"

I knew it! *loads shotgun*

Na but seriously, it would be hilarious if we could marry her but we were all missing something, like, instead of an amulet of mara we have to wear a bonehawk amulet to get her to marry us xD

Molyneux created the Hoax that was project natal. Howard? He just tells lies. Sweet little ones at that. But it's the little things that matter, but saying he's worse than Molyneux isn't true. And look up Natal if you don't know what it is. It was the original selling point of Kinect and probably would have made it worth it. Thing is, it never came out. Why? Molyneux made a fake trailer and staged the entire thing.

One has disappointed and broken my heart, the other made Fable. Hence, Todd is worse.

Just like how Homer is a bad writer because I don't like the Illiad and the Odyssey.

Actually Project Natal was the working title of Kinect
I think your talking about Milo and Kate  Yeah, that did get canceled, but lets be honest you could tell it was only going to be bought by 40 year old men...

I guess on a personal level for you then. You don't like Homer? Wh-wh-wh-why?

But Howard never promised more romance options. Haha. Fans of Beth have always asked, let us have more followers, so he gave. Then we asked let us take them with us outside the dlc, so he gave. Then we asked let us have more likable followers. So he gave. We gon' have to wait till next DLC. Unless the Change petition thing is looked over and considered.

Edit: I though Milo was part of it. Well, either way, the hoax he pulled with the trailer of supposed gameplay was just wrong.

And I could think of so many dirty things to show milo with that scanner thing they " showed off." So many crude drawings of genitalia.

I didn't like Homer for his (the translator's, whatever) archaic language, same as Shakespeare (discounting the fact Shakes is an incredible troll what with selling the same play a dozen times).

To be on topic, yadda yadda Serana something blah blah blah marry threesome with Aela.

A threesome between a shouting obsessed dragonborn, a furry hunting werewolf, and an undead vampire with daddy issues? Only in the elder scrolls.

Beth don't charge for those kinds of DLCs. They would just patch it into the game. But, if we CAN propose to Serana just to get shot down, I doubt Bethesda will ever make her marriable... Guess I'll go for Mjoll and make her a Vamp... Do NPCs you turn get the Glowing eyes?
