Do you use Kynes Peace?

Yeah, but Dragonrend makes the dragons land so you can kill them. It's pretty annoying how they keep circling for ever and then sometimes fly away.

For me, most of the dragons I come across aren't even affected by it. If I use it directly on them, nothing happens most of the time...the rest of the time they just do the circling thing and go away. It worked successfully only once (somewhat): on the dragon in Blackreach.

I don't but it's a nice roleplay and lore addition, along with Froki's quest for Kyne's amulet. A little nod to the old Nord pantheon.

(...)I do agree that for something that is supposed to sooth the savage beast, it is quite loud. I expected it to be more like "There there baby, that's a good wittle critter" or to follow the 3 word format, "Hush little baby"
Ever seen a dog trainer?

They use a loud and firm voice and dogs obey as struck by an enchantment (even if the trainer is not their owner and it's the first time they see him... incredible!)

I thought Kyne's Peace was also a way of creating havoc indoors and in markets without the constabulary getting all huffy. I think I have 2/3 of Kyne's and of Slow Time. I'll have to try that trick of Slow Time and the zoom-slow perk.

OP, I use it all the freaking time, mostly with my mage who is squishy and has no use for animal pelts. I got really tired of having every two steps of a country stroll becoming an epic battle of life and death against a polar bear or sabre cat. Kyne's Peace turns them all into cuddly liddle beasties.

I use it all the time. Most of the time, when I encounter bears, I just shout Kyne's Peace at them, because I actually like bears and don't want to kill them unnecessarily. I also used it to explore this cave that was filled with Bears, but I didn't wanted to slaughter them in their own sanctuary. So, I just used Kyne's Peace on them and explored the cave!

It comes in handy in a Spriggan grove, too. I use Kyne's Peace or Animal Allegiance there.

I don't want something that means the "hide" animals don't attack. I LOVES me my leatherworking.... And truthfully, I don't care about peaceful coexistence. If something attacks, I kill it. Whyever wouldn't you?

Well, I guess you wouldn't if you were a pacifist. I'm NEVER a pacifist.

The critters (bears, sabercats, wolves - excluding spiders LOL) usually only attack you, because YOU wandered into THEIR territory. What right do we have to just stroll into a cave, where bears lived for years and just obliterate them? Now, Bandits are another matter... LOL

Oh pooh. If they had half a brain (they don't, since the UI isn't built that way), they'd do like real animals normally do - see man coming, leave until man is gone again. The only real animals around here that DON'T operate on that basis are the cougars. We haven't moved into their territory wholesale (unlike the idiots in some other states), but they're REALLY antagonistic. We go armed all the time if we're out in the backs....

i only use it when i am just too tired to get into a fight or don't need any more leather.

a few times a game only.

I do like FUSE RO DAH to smash overlords into walls etc which allows me to smack them while they get up.

just like they do to me.

Actually, gender doesn't seem to matter. They're just plain nasty.... Even the bears will shuffle off to keep out of the way, but not the cats. And the problem is, if you have to kill one to keep from BEING killed yourself, THEN you're in a whole load of trouble with DWR.
