I want this game to crash and burn, and take Zenimax' money with it. The way I see it The Elder Scrolls franchise is about giving you a fantasy-world that is yours and yours alone to play with. When they announced TES Online it felt like a slap in the face.
I still don't get why people want an Elder Scrolls MMO, it's the complete opposite of what the series is about
Pretty much this, Co-op mode or multiplayer in a TES context I can understand people wanting, I never have ever wanted it, but I don't quite understand the desire for a TES mmo. Potentially done well it could be amazing. So much to go wrong though...

Wishing for 250 passionate people working hard to make a game everyone can enjoy to fail and lose their jobs might be a bit immature. Wishing for a game company that supplies you with a pasttime, that you are indeed passionate about, to lose hundreds of millions of dollars might indicate a lack of understanding of basic capitalism.
Well, i'm going to be straight with you. I don't like the idea of this MMO so I come to the Elder Scrolls Online forums to [censored] about it and get all the other [censored]ers to agree with me so we can have a jolly good time simply [censored]ing. Happy?

Yes, I want a game I hate to succeed because people may lose there jobs. And Zenimax is just the publisher...
Of course I want it to succeed, actually wanting something to fail that you can just avoid is nothing short of purely being a hater. That's weak sauce, grow up people.

I understand peoples concerns. Hell I have many concerns about the game myself and and realize that the game may be dreadful. But to wish for that to happen simply because the game doesn't meet a persons expectations is like someone throwing a temper tantrum. Even if I end up hating the game I still wouldn't want it to crash and burn. It is not like ZO is gonna agree that they screwed up and start from scratch to make a completely differnt game. TESO is the only ES mmo game possibility for the next decade if not forever. If I think the game svcks I will simply not play it and wish it well while waiting for the next Bethesda title.
I hope its a good game and succeeds I also hope its a MMO I actually enjoy playing. I'm less hopeful of that but even if it isn't I can't see any good coming out of it failing
Yes of course we do, what an absurd question, its going to be a TES game no matter if you like how they make it or not and saying you want it to fail would be like saying you wanted Skyrim to fail cause it was much different than the previous TES games.
Not really seeing as though Skyrim was a game continuing on from other games in the series and ESO is a standalone mmo. People might want it to fail as they don't want to take the spotlight of the true Elder Scrolls series.
