Do you wear dragon priest masks?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 10:15 pm

I use a pure mage, and I refuse to wear these things, i think it is dumb that ALL of them are considered armor, maybe the ones that improve warrior combat skills should be armor, but not the ones that increase magical abilities, its like "HEY LOOK AT THIS AWESOME MASK, BUt YOU CANT WeAR IT IF YOU WANT TO BE A PURE MAGE" >_<.

I don't like how they look, so no. I have a mod that lets me craft Morokei as a circlet and that is what my mage wore.

I dont need the 100% magicka regen on my pure mage character, so no i dont wear them, (i have 4 atm) it regenerates fast enough for me.

I play a Breton.

I wear the Archmage robes, Gauldurs amulet, +70% magicka circlet and a ring with 17% magicka reduction on destruction spells. All of these items (except Gauldurs) were given to me during the college of Winterhold quest line.

I also wear thalmor boots and gloves but they dont have anything special on them.

No. They are strange looking and a khajiit isn't able to wear them. Well, they shouldn't, atleast on the face. There was a drawing i saw here sometime with an argonan wearing one so that the mask part was at the back of his head, that i'd like to see for beasts. And since different armor part models for different races are already possible someone only needs to model them :hehe:

Well, my pure mage uses morokei, and forgoes alteration, which ups the difficulty a bit by being weak to physical attacks, and gives dodging attacks/arrows that much more meaning :D

I'm using a no-helmet mod and another mod for Morokei that makes it clothing.

The Otar mask. With the +30% resistance it is, without mods, the best ingame head armor for my warrior. Even the the self enchanted ones don't offer such a bonus.

I only ever practically used 2. Krosis until I got a better fortify alchemy helmet and Volsun for when I went shopping or ever fancied a dip in the sea.
For the final mask ... I am disapoint.

New character is a mage so only wears circlets .. gotta show off the ginger hair.

I'm an Argonian, and as weird as it is I still choose to wear them.
Morokei is the only want I take with me regularly.

I used the one with fortify alchemy, left in the satchel on the Breezehome lab, until I got a better circlet, but in public? Not a chance.

I collect them for the bookshelf, the stats are a little high for my liking and the design doesn't really go with any armour or clothing. They look awesome all lined up on a shelf though that's for sure.

Arch-Mage robes and Morokei look rather fitting, so I often wear them together since it boost magic regen greatly :)

I do not wear them, they're ugly and pointless and weigh a bloody ton. I heard/read somewhere on the wiki that you cannot drop these items until you've got them all as it bugs out the final mask. Having not done it yet on any of my previous characters, I get annoyed when I find a mask, I think "Great, got to lug this POS around until I finally give up looking for them....Again!!!!"

Can anyone confirm if it's true, removing them from your inventory breaks them? I should really just go and get them all but - I absolutely HATE fighting DP's.

No. They're too ugly and don't fit into my Argonian's head without crushing his snout.

I'll wait for a mod that gives the masks a better look.

Volsung coupled with Nightingale Armor is the best unique armor setup in the game, in my humble opinion. And It looks bloody amazing, too.

I do wear them but I prefer not to. They look ugly to me but the benefits of wearing them outweigh are too much for me to overlook.
