PC is the only system that requires internet to download and play. The PS3 and 360 only need the internet to install patches.

If I'm going to stay there for a long time then I might as well go for a game with randomly generated content and a steep learning curve. Hello Dwarf Fortress!

(But I must be allowed to download the entire DF Wiki beforehand)

Also X3: Terran Conflict. I really don't have the time and patience for it now.

Other than that probably Morrowind, Deus Ex, and my Baldur's Gate 4-in-1 boxset.
