Your favorite build?

I always seem to enjoy an archer build, they seem fun.

But the most fun I've had have been with a heavy armor imperial sword & board in blades armor, and a Altmer Spellshield in Light Armor wield Destruction spells.

Favorite build is a tossup between two character who are close copies of each other, with one difference. One of them (my current) isn't afraid to use magic, although it is rare, aside from the school of restoration, which he makes extensive use of.

Current and likely my favorite character

Race: Nord, male
Build: Primarily a warrior, with a bit of magic tossed in for good measure.
Skills: Two Handed (Battle Axe), Block, Smithing, Heavy Armor, Enchanting, Restoration, Speech (don't know why, just sold a bunch of junk I guess)
Stone: None, he doesn't believe in them. he believe stones are for the weak, and in his eyes, the weak will perish...usually at his hands. Guitly of 18 murders...at least the ones the game considers murders. Count all the Vigilants and random npc's who've called him, a milk drinker he's slaughtered for no reason, and the number would be sky high.

http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/5013/screenshot72p.jpg: The baddest of the bad, the lowest piece of scum you could find in all of Tamriel, the reason why you lock your doors at night, is was a member of the Companions, but was missed the thrill of slaughtering innocents for the sake of killing, he missed the thrill of knowing he could get caught anytime. Locked up nine time for various offenses; his favorite is punching guards in the face for no reason.

He's not Dragonborne, he's certainly no hero to the Stormcloaks or the Empire, he's out for his own goals, but has found some just like him who just love to kill people...and get paid to do it. He's found himself a new home with the DB.

Note: Ofrid has never skulked around in the dark once in his life (it is a roleplay after all, as a half blind guy, who the hell is he going to be sneaking past, he can't see [censored])

It would be one of these (wildly different) two:

Poisoner

Name: Trazyn
Gender: Female
Race: Bosmer
Skills: Alchemy, Sneak, Pickpocket
Stone: Theif
Magicka:Health:Stamina ratio: 0:1:9

She has to sneak everywhere. She is too weak to kill a pack of wolves if caught unprepared. Also being a poisoner means I don't have to endure quite so many kill cams :)

Tank
Name: Adi Gro'Usai
Race: Orc
Skills: One handed, Heavy Armor, Smithing
Stone: None
Magicka:Health:Stamina ratio: 0:1:5

He is recently married (to Borgakh, ofc) and is on the verge of retirement. I gotta say, in OB I never liked playing Orcs, but skyrim makes them a favorite race. Berserker mode FTW!

Race: Altmer
Skills: Destruction, Conjuration, Illusion, Alteration, Restoration. Possibly Enchanting and maybe Alchemy to fit the master of magic role-play.
Stone: The Apprentice

This is my brand new mage. My first was a pure Destruction mage but he was a bit too weak. I'm now trying all schools.
I had a weird glitch recently where my Magicka was regeneration was really good. For some reason my Magicka would recharge really fast whether or not I was in battle. I basically had unlimited Magicka. I could hold a spell in my hand and my Magicka would regenerate before I released it as well.

Then all of a sudden while playing I ended up having no Magicka again and an extremely slow regeneration. It was not nice as I ran out of Magicka so fast that I couldn't kill anyone. I was only level 1 too and on Master, now I am level 5 and have to put perks into so many different skills trees it's hard to decide.

Race: Argonian
Skills: Archery, Sneak, Pickpocket, Light Armour
Stone: Thief/Steed

Pretty much just an Argonian archer that loves shadows. I find it really enjoyable to sit in the shadows and clear a dungeon without being found. Also like shooting from a long distance. So satisfying when you get the kill!

Race: Redguard
Skills: Alteration, One-handed, Enchanting
Stone: Mage

My spellsword named Burton Guster

It's interesting being completely vulnerable, not being able to hide behind armor or sneak, but only spell shields if I cast them in time. It forces me to be much more tactful and dodge incoming attacks. I've been trying to make good use of staffs instead of destruction, which is new and interesting as well.

I'm sure this build will find a way to become over powered down the line like anything else, but as of now it's the most difficult this game has been in about 400 hours.

Race: Dunmer
Skills: Conjuration, One-Handed (bound), Destruction
Stone: The Mage

I love the conjured weapons because you get credit for both one-handed and conjuration when you use them in battle. Then take the soul trap perk, grab a ton of soul gems, and run up Enchanting.

When the game first came out everybody played Sneaky types, so I assume most of that group got bored of one shotting everything and wanted more of a challenge. Plus, mages are awesome, even if magic in this game is lacking in variety.

Race: Human

Skills: Heavy Armor, Two-Handed and Restoration

I prefer the Crusader/Paladin character build and I prefer to play as human characters, even though I hav nothing against the other races.

Which dirty, pathetic, useless race of man?

Rolling out quite a few lately (no pun intended), But my all time favorite since playing Morrowind as a kid: the Thief. Plain, simple, stealth. Love it.

Already made a Dunmer thief, but he kind of turned into a kill on sight assassin, so now I'm making a more cowardly Argonian thief.

I am working on a crazy sword and board Orc and an Altmer necromancer as well...

Well, most of my characters in Skyrim have been Bretons, Nords or Imperials, but race isn't really important.

Currently I'm running a Dunmer Mage concept.

Skills: Destruction, Conjuration, Alteration, Restoration.

Stone: Mage. But I think I might switch to the lord stone once I get the necromage perk.

Of the characters I've created, I had a Breton Mage (corrupted file), Imperial Ranger (file corrupted), and a Khajiit thief. Still haven't made a warrior file yet.

An Enchanted high Elf
Increased muscle mass and weight have made my High elf Dovrak The Half-Blood on par with the physical capabilities of the strongest and largest of orc berserkers. He stands at 7 feet 8 inches dwarfing both bosmer and Dunmer as well as khajiit and Argonians.

His skillet is in.. heavy armor, two handed, one handed, illusion, conjuration, restoration, sneak, and smithing.

My favorite build so far is my priestess (based on the cleric archtype).

Race: Redguard
Skills: One handed, Block, Restoration, Alteration, Enchanting, Light Armor
Stone: Steed, at the moment. I keep meaning to change to Lord but I get easily distracted.

My priestess does all she can to avoid violence against living things (undead are another matter), so she uses Kyne's Peace to avoid animal encounters in the wild. If she's ambushed by bandits, then her follower makes quick work of them while she provides healing and backup. She also dabbles in the school of Illusion, but only knows the Courage and Calm spells. Her personal quest is to rid Skyrim of its restless undead, so she delves into Nordic burial sites often, using the Restoration school to strike fear in the dried up hearts of the draugr. She's also been chosen by Meridia to bring the light of the Dawn to the dark corners of the land.

I have a lot of fun with the one-handed/block method of fighting- my priestess is not overpowered, and there are times when the timing of blocks and strikes is crucial. I also relish the times when I can manage a large group of undead with my Restoration spells, then bash them at my leisure while they cower in the corners.

Race - Breton
Type - Monk or Arkay
Skills - One handed (mace), alteration, restoration, destruction minor enchanting / Alchemey.

Tricky build as your main DPS is one handed but you've only got Mage armour and wards for defence. I played as priest of Arkay, so no looting murder etcetra, also had a drinking problem which left me broke. Great fun, lvl 35 and no bounty, started to get easier once I reached a certain lvl of health.

Orc Master at Arms
1 handed, archery, block, smithing, heavy armour, 2 handed, enchanting, destruction. He knows pretty much everything to know about killing, he doesn't even need a weapon to be deadly. An absolute Juggernaut.
