Super Mario Bros, it was released in '85 I believe but it was the first game I played in about '91 when I was 4. The girl next door had it and I played it round there
93 Model here and games have been around me since I was born. If I said I remembered the first game I saw or played I'd be lying as no one remembers thing from such an early stage in their youth. However the first game I owned would be the Disney Hercules game released in 1997 for the PS1 when I was 4 years old.
That would've been Pong back around 78-79, on an ATARI 2600.
Same here (edit: except for the Atari 2600 bit.) A lad up our street had a Pong machine in the mid-late '70s (haven't a clue as to the exact year) that his parents let him fire up occasionally; he was rationed because they didn't want it burning into the TV.
I can't remember, it was likely something for the NES back in the mid 90's. Maybe Super Mario Bros or Battletoads, I can't say for sure I was probably about 4 at the time of my first game.
Difficult to tell. Maybe the first Commander Keen, or the first Prince of Persia, Captain Comic, The Incredible Machine, Cartooners... I played games that were many years old when I started playing them at the age of 8 or so, so I'm not sure which one came first for me.
Most likely one of those shareware games for the PC in 1990-91. It's hard for me to remember a specific game since I've played so many growing up, but I didn't get my first console until after that.
Super Mario All Stars for SNES around 1995. It included Mario Bros 1, The Lost Levels, 2 and 3. At the same time I got Donkey Kong Country but I played it only after finished Mario.
I honestly can't remember. I got a Commodore 64 with a whole bunch of games from my cousin when i was a kid, so one of those. Modern flash games are more complex and pretty than what EA and Activision did back then
