YOUR FIRST GAME?

I remember playing the PC version of Harry Potter and the "sorceror's stone" (in the UK the book was called philosopher's stone) at age 5.
My good friend bought me that as a birthday gift when I turned 11. I actually enjoyed it.

Well, I don't really remember. When I was a little kid, my neighbors had video games. Used to go over to their house to play them, and I can't remember what they were. With was in the 80s. I know one of them was the original Zelda.

Elite, the space game. Very good memories.
Ah, the grandfather of the open-world genre. I had many, many great hours with that game. Very good memories indeed.

This is really hard to remember. I was born in '82, and started playing video games as soon as I could. Our first console was an http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_2600, and the first game I remember playing was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitfall! Of course, all of that paled in comparison to when we acquired our first NES. Now, my first computer game was played on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64, which was given to us by our uncle. If I'm not mistaken my first game on the C64 was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasie; I still shudder at the thought of encountering Black Knights.

Honestly I'm not sure. I know the first PC game I played was Civilzation, the first one. Great game!! Loved it. As for consoles? I think it was a Sega Genesis game, either Sonic the Hedgehog or Mortal Combat. First system I owned was Super Nintendo and the first game I owned was Legend of Zelda. Link to the Past. Also a fantastic game! Of course that was way after the SNES came out. It was a gift by some old guy I no longer remember. I feel ungrateful now...
