I think the first game I played was the original Lego Racers for PC. It is the first I remember playing anyway.

In 1989 I was gifted a NES and Mario/Duck Hunt for Christmas. My first RPG ever was Dragon Warrior for the NES, in 90.

Wolfenstein 3D for the Mac.

We had a police officer come in one day during Junior Kindergarden and he reminded me of a Nazi from Wolfenstein, and I told him that my dad kills guys like him with a machine gun..in front of the whole class.

Needless to say, my dad received a phone call after that.

:lmao:

and http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f7/Chip%27s_Challenge.png/250px-Chip%27s_Challenge.png - (PC) was the first PC game I remember playing.

Chip's Challenge! How could I have forgotten that?! I loved playing that game, though some of the challenges could be infuriating. I played a lot of it with a friend- two brains are better than one.

Diablo II in 2003. Never played video games before and a friend loaned it to me. I was hooked on it daily for about a year.

Lego Racers? Sir I give you all my respect. I absolutely adored Lego Racers when I was a child.

Oh man I remember those games (the first two, anyway). They were great, some of my favourite games at the time and fun to play with my brother.

*dies of nostalgia attack*

Great game! I spent so long trying to make a 'cool' car and always failed to make anything remotely good looking!

I'm not sure. It might have been Dark Forces or Tie-Fighter. (I think my dad bought a sample "Star Wars" pack at some point in the mid-90s for me). It could have also been Earthworm Jim (for Win 95), SkiFree, or Jezzball.

You should try out my levels. There is a special edition of Chip's Challenge that you can get and it has a Level-Maker on it! You can make your own levels or edit the current ones in the game!

Not exactly sure. I had one of those Breakout boxes that hooked up to the tv. Also had an Atari 2600 I think. Maybe it was a 5200 or 7800. The first game I had for it was that tank game where you run through a maze and try to shoot each other.

what was the very first video game on a computer or console you ever played and on which platform and which year?

On console, Pong back in the late 70's.
On PC, the original Sid Meier's Pirates! on a shiny new Tandy 1000EX. That was around '86 or '87...I think.

Not sure. My four oldest gaming memories are Turok, Duke Nukem, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong. I'm not sure which of those came first. I can say that my first PC game was Delta Force...or was it Outlaws? Mad Dog McCree..? [censored].
