Your most anticipated game of 2012?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 12:10 am

I wonder if Final Fantasy Versus XIII may be considered a 2012 title by any part of the world
I have about $90 set aside as "emergency import fund" just in case. I'm not about to let a silly thing like language barrier stand between me and that game, even if it means getting it only a few months early. :P

Yeah I would love to hear an announcement about Fallout 4 but I doubt that's going to happen this year unless they debut it at the VGA's in December.

Mass Effect 3. Multiplayer stuff sounds gimmicky, but I've enjoyed both installments of the series thus far.

Guild Wars 2 sounded like a must buy at first. but I'm not sure I'll have the time to be playing an MMO, and it looks like they're tearing out everything that made the first game so much fun.

Diablo 3
Far Cry 3
Max Paybe 3

I havent kept up on it, but just remembered. Dishonoured. I havent seen footage but it will apparently be released in 2012, hope its as good as it sounds. But if they need to hold it off till 2013 to mkae sure its great im happy.

Also I am alive, is finally being released in 2012, and it sounds awesome. Its on XBLA and PSN.
And Alan Wake American nightmare. Allthough some things I hear have me worried about the quality. Still I loved AW.
If I had PS3 I would include "the journey" I like the visuals...

Early to call, but I think 2012 will be better than 2011.

Grand Theft Auto: V (assuming it's released in 2012)
The Last of Us (assuming it's released in 2012
Bioshock: Infinite

Probably the only must have games this year, there are a few others I might get but I'll wait and see.

There hasn't been much to keep up to... They haven't really released any info since the first bits after the announcement.

The people who only listed one or two games... I feel sorry for. You really should make yourself aware of the great titles of this year. This year will easily be the greatest year in gaming yet, simply because so many big and long awaited sequels are finally hitting.

Maybe max Payne 3?

Dunno really, haven't seen anything that seems interesting. I probably won't buy anything this year. Probably won't buy anything really until there is a Fallout 4 or TES 6.

Point of order: the thread is about the most anticipated game - note singular. ;)

Glad you're enjoying the upcoming year, but don't be so arrogant to think that everyone shares your taste in games.

Mass Effect 3
Metro Last Light

Might be more, but that's all that comes to mind right now.

X-Rebirth

Age of Decadence

I know you said singular but it's impossible for me to-

Ok, I'll go with X. I like VD's ideas and I follow AoD's development closely over at the Tower but some of X's features are what I always wanted from videogames when I was playing Elite way back when.

Doesn't mean I won't buy both tho'.

GTA V
Mass Effect 3
Dragon Age 3 (probably won't be released in 2012)

Edit:

Halo 4 (How'd I forget that)?

Halo 4, what I expect to be the beginning of the end for Master Chief, but you never know.

Prey 2
Another one I missed. Yeah, the gameplay of that looked awesome. Sounds like it hs real potential.

Even if Halo 4 were good (im skeptical) I dont think I would play it. Halo 3 ended well, the covenant was broken up, gravemind was killed along with the rest of the flood. The ark ws destroyed. And it ended well by having him go back into the cryo tube, like how the game began.
