"I must have dropped my jaws... "

Thats exactly how I felt when I fumbled for the console key and feverishly typed "tm" and hit printscreen. :)

Uhm no, PC on ultra everything, 16 AF and 8 AA, distant blur shader turned off. What makes you say that?

It's 1080p. Consoles are Hard capped at 720p.

Don't think you can hide the UI on console.

Great shot, amazing detail.

You can change the HUD opacity but I don't know if you can make it completely invisible. I would guess you can...

It just didn't look as good as I thought it would. I also play on PC at Ultra. Bizarre, must have been the screen shot. The textures look low res and it's all a bit fuzzy, but must have been the screen shot, my bad.

I'll have another look...

[edit] muppetry on my part! I didn't enlarge the image. That looks more like it!

Playing my X360 at home and on Ultra on the work PC, I can honestly say the difference is tiny. The biggest difference and real quality of life improvement is tearing, which can be massive on the X360, but in terms of draw distance and detail, on a good TV, there's barely any difference to spot.

I think the display plays a key part. I can easily differentiate between 720p and 1080p on my display.
