Your Oufit, It's Just...

When I'm town, I prefer to wander about in my undies. I love the reaction of NPCs... Bethesda added several different lines, even children have a few. If I'm not mistaken, in Morrowind and Oblivion there was only one per race.

I like those two sisters, they're among the so few memorable characters in Skyrim (and by memorable I don't mean annoying one-liners repeated infintely, such as 'I work for Belethor in the general goods store'). It even gets funnier when you invest in their store :)

I actually hoped I might "run into" them during the Battle of Solitude...

"Jarl Ulfric, I... I regret to report that I may have accidentally killed some civilians."

"WHAT? I gave strict orders that no civilians were to be harmed. Did you not-"

"Yes but you know those two Altmer-"

"-understand what I meant when I said no-"

"-ladies from the dress shop near the city gates-"

"-civili... wait, what? You mean those Radiant Raiment women? Well... they totally had it coming. Carry on, Dragonborn."

That is too funny! I would really like to see that played out, as well! The Radient Raiment Altmers are kinda like Bethesda's mockery of today's Fashion Industry. Who here has not gone into a "Fashionista" store wearing "Street Clothes", only get snubbed while in the store. I think that at times the whole Fashion Industry is full of Narcissitic snobs. They all seem to have the "Emperor's New Clothes" syndrome.

However, if you are a Mage looking for stock clothing for self enchantments. That is the place to purchase the clothes you need for those enchantments. That is assuming that you are not looking to enchant light or heavy armor instead. They do sell alot of clothes. And if you ever need to pull off a "Bedlam" job in Solitude, that is my favorite store to rob.

I do not believe so.
I do not believe so.

You can kill one of them... I know I'm going to. I won't kill them both because they are an income source.

I just find it pretty satisfying to steal everything from Radiant Raiment's strongbox and counters on every trip through Solitude. Fitting revenge.

I've been meaning to do this. Next time . . .

No, they were Daedric Axes, Pain had Fiery Soul Trap and Absorb Health, while Agony had Absorb Stamina and Absorb Magicka. They're very effective at dealing with necks

Nice. I had sword and dagger named Malice (the one that hurts you) and Mercy (the one that kills you), but i don't remember what i had enchanted them with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdq_T-m18Mo&feature=BFa&list=PL9336B2986392716F ;)

Or if you just like to have apparel with various enchantments that bump up the quality of crafted items, and which also look good on your character. I'm afraid I'm rather picky about what my PC wears, and usually about midway through the game I'm looking to put together and enchant outfits specifically for smithing and alchemy. If I haven't been able to loot anything suitable that actually looks good on my character, Radiant Raiment is the only real hope for a one-stop-shopping expedition to find what I want. Otherwise I'm running all over Skyrim looking for the one or two things I need to complete an outfit.

If you talk to one of them she explains she's not trying to insult you just make an observation.

Yeah. Right. And I'm wearing handcrafted dragonscale armor. Do you know how many dragons I had to kill to make this? And how easy it would be to kill you and pay the puny fine at this stage?

I can live with the bad dialogue in this game, but what truly irritates me is the endless amount of oversights. I respect that Beth did a lot of detail (like dropping weapons prompts guards to warn you) but there are dozens of obvious holes like this that just ruin immersion in the game. This and complete lack of racial recognition.

Lack of racial recognition allows modders to create new races without much hassle :P IIRC the dialogue Hadvar says when you choose your race uses specific "if else" conditional, meaning if a new race is created, there'd be simply no dialogue. Smart.

But it does make role-playing a bit hard when a Nord doesn't know what a High King or Talos is. By Talos! A Nord! Doesn't know who Talos is! Needs Heimskr to explain!

I actually find them entertaining... not to mention they would make perfect weapons:

Tullius: "Ulfric, give up now!"
Ulfric: "Or what?"
Tullius: "Or I'll persuade the Radiant Remnant merchants to open the shop in Windh-"
Ulfric: "LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR!"

LMAO :D

Yeah, I hate those dummies too. But the biggest shame is that Taarie is the only Altmer available for marriage.

She is? Cool. So marry her, take her to your home, and dress her up in falmer or forsworn armor or something equally awful. Fitting revenge.
