Your single worst game that you have ever played and finishe

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 9:13 am

It never was good. The mechanics were horrible, and I just hated it's story. I'm of split minds about the PS3-360 version of Double Agent as well, I didnt enjoy all of the daylight missions. I prefered the night time 'try to keep stealthy' style, in the daylight was aweful >: (

Though I do admit, that mission Hong Kong (I think) at that hotel is pretty awesome to me.
I seem to have fond memories of the Splinter Cell series. Conviction was pretty amazing though.

In retrospect, Dragon Quest IX wasn't really fun to play. Just too much of the same for me - new village/town with distinct color pattern, grind, fight boss, get Important Item #X, repeat.

Hmmm...I haven't finished Duke Nukem yet....Mr Driller doesn't have a story....Turok iss good just lacks players....Hmmmmm...Stretches mind back to pre-Xbox....Never finished Pappi the Rapper....Rugrat Studio Tour was fun....

[censored] it I have over 200+ games over 6 consoles why is this so hard :ahhh:

EDIT:
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow

That game is utter [censored], it's the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel of Splinter Cell in my book.
I haven't played this in years, but it was good tehn to me, my dad picked up gaming again and started with that game...He has since stopped gaming.

I thought of a game that was bad from start to finish Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - The story svcked soo much and it just felt really stiff even with 100% sensitivity, online was good though.

Oblivion.

I don't normally finish games I don't like, but Oblivion was okay enough to play once modded.

I never finished a game that I did not like, but the worst game that I played that I planned on finishing was Infinite Undiscovery. It would have been good if the second disc did not seem so rushed and the game went downhill from there.

I can't say I've really disliked any of the games I've beaten really. Usually if the game doesn't hold my attention, I don't play it.

The new 007 game for ps3 is pretty bad.

Alan Wake is easily one of my favorite games.

I just finished it the other day. I enjoyed it overall, but I did have to force myself to keep playing at certain points as it can be very repetitive. I wish they had more varied environments and enemies; you spent the whole game fighting the same handful of baddies in the same way in the same forests.

As the best or worst? I have nightfire for PC and haven't played past the first level even though I owned it since I was a kid. :P

If I survive playing FF13, all you will have to pitch in and help pay my doctor bill, because I know I'm going to be hospitalized after I finish that travesty of a game.

My sentiments exactly, I just found it a boring and really short game.

Best. I was too young in the days of Goldeneye but from what I've read of people's nostalgia for it then Nightfire is the same with me. Had so much fun fighting the bots in multiplayer, taking people out with Odd-Jobs hat and I even enjoyed the campaign.

Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I thought I'd try to get into the whole FPS scene, since so many people seem to like it so much. Turns out most FPS games don't have compelling single player anymore. I didn't beat it because I really wanted to or because I was having fun. I beat it because I could. Also to justify spending $5 on Steam for it.

Generally I don't finish games unless I really like them or really want to, and I rarely play games that I feel are outright bad. Bad Company 2 wasn't bad, it was just kind of bland.

Try STALKER then, its single player is bar none the best I have ever played.

Bioshock, oh wait, I abandoned that game 2 hours in. So...repetitive.

Umm...I'll say Halo 2. I don't know how, but I beat the single player and shelved it. The multiplayer was absolute [censored]. The storyline was [censored].

Hah! Its close... http://www.mobygames.com/game/007-nightfire_

Nothing tops Big Rigs though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB1zWEhgrLs

The worst game that I can recall finishing was probably http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq-irn2wtt0, (and it wasn't that bad really).

Well, the Mac/PC version of Nightfire is completely different from the far superior console version, which is what I'm pretty sure The Enclave is talking about.

I don't know if Big Rigs even counts though. There is no beginning or end to that game, unless playing each track that doesn't crash on you all the way from start to "you're winner!" counts.

Never finished a game I thought was bad. Hell, I have enough problems finishing games I do like.
Having said that, I would have to say the worst game I've played in the last couple of years was Cross-Edge.

That game had one of the best split screen verse modes ever, me and my brother still play it when the ps2 goes on, even the versus AI weren't completely stupid. :)

Haven't been online for awhile so have not payed much attention to my thread lol.
Too Human, probably. Combat wasn't particularly good, made worse by the fact that the game throws a ridiculous amount of enemies at you in waves over the course of each painfully long, repetitive level. The story wasn't too bad, but having to suffer the gameplay to see it unfold killed any excitement I had to see the next cutscene.

I only finished it because I was going through this silly Achievements phase at the time.
I agree. Too Human was just awful. Its ending did not even really feel like an ending. I was just left feeling like okay, wheres the rest of the damn game?! I even sat through all the credits in some kind of sick state of hope that I could get some closure.

There was meant to be three but since number one was so bad I doubt it.
