What are your thoughts on Cicero? Other then the fact that he's a little psycho obviously. Because although he goes mental and tries to kill Veezara and Arnbjorn, but surely he's the only member of the sanctuary abiding by the Old Ways, and therefore respecting Dark Brotherhood tradition? Surely Astrid is wrong to refuse his ways and the importance of the Night Mother? Surely the sanctuary members (except of course Cicero) are not strictly speaking the Dark Brotherhood at all because they receive contracts by word of mouth and not even by the Black Sacrament?

Tell me if I'm inaccurate on any points please, I'm curious - surely Cicero is in the right and his attacking of Veezara and Arnbjorn is justified because they are not legitimate Dark Brotherhood members and merely a bunch of assassins using the name?

I despise the little creep and kill him as soon as I am able. I don't care if he is right or wrong. He annoys me horribly and I always look forward to being able to shut him up permanently. I then display his corpse in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary.

Interesting character. I think it's a shame the Dark Brotherhood questline wasn't longer. It felt like they could've done a lot more with him.

He was funny lol but I chopped his head off!
He was too mad. Not the loveable mad like Sheogorath, the creepy annoying mad.

I killed him because he is so damn annoying but... if I would play once again, I would spare his life just for that +1 DB member more.

He's garbage, and completely insane. I put him out of his misery the first chance I had.

I really don't like him. Most annoying character in the game.

I'd be much happier being a member of a guild of rational if amoral assassains than part of a death cult. If Astrid hadn't tried to betray me and fatally miscalculated the character of Commander Maro I'd have been happy to side with her.

I killed him because he broke the chain of command. He should've directed his concerns to The Listener so we could commune with the Night Mother for her to give us direction. The end result would've probably been the same, but in a more ordered fashion.

I don't give a damn what ways he is following. He needs to die, for anyone in the areas sanity!

The first time I saw him, I spent the entire time wanting to strangle him with his stupid hat! I was so happy when I got to smash his head in with the Mace Of Malog Bal. I smashed the corpse a bit after, just for fun.

You have to hope the Night Mother did'nt have to listen to his deranged, moronic, incredibley grating, whittering, constantly.

And he is very wrong for attacking the family he was invited into.
Astrid did'nt have to let him in, but she did.
And then he attacked 2 of them, 1 while trying to kill her.
He deserves death and more!

From his journal I would say the poor assassins who were in his group, at the end, left because he was such a hideously annoying moron.

I always kill him, every single time. No way in hell would I let that cretinous garbage live! I kill him the first chance I get.

And dark brotherhood is dark brotherhood, whatever rules they follow.

Death cults are cooler than plain ol' hired assassins. I really missed the old ways of the DB.

That said, Cicero was extremely annoying, especially in that jester outfit. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Cicero was justified in his actions, the traitors were slandering the Nightmother.
If I were there to hear them, I would have gutted each and every one of them.
He's quite possibly the best NPC in the game, he's certainly got the most personality.

I dislike cartoon insanity so very much, so he gets with the stick.

Met Cicero for the first time the other day. Had to Mute the TV and turn on the subtitles. How anyone can travel with him is beyond me.

I find him to be quite pleasant.
