FemShep.
Haha, good choice. I'm kind of impressed, everyone's picked a different character so far.

Don't get me wrong, everyones entitled to their opinion, but a women whose thighs are each the size of my waist is a bit intimidating...

Re: Personality...

That's why I said Hroki of Markarth...she really doesn't have one...and I don't want to get involved with her...but she is kinda dreamy...and kinda mysterious.

Heck if I wanted personality, I would have said Ahnassi from Morrowind...

Wow I feel so shallow, but they're only games.

Not quite, at least a couple of us like Leliana for instance, but I guess there are some diverse tastes... I suppose for the sake of even-handedness, videogame chaps (or cads) should perhaps be included too.

I don't think I've played most of the games listed here. Though I did play DAO, I hated Morrigan and her harpy voice, but then I hated everybody else who appeared in, or was involved in the production of, that game.

I quite liked most of the characters in the game (can't really comment about those responsible for its production). I've already mentioned Leliana, but especially Schmooples. I was most disappointed when the latter failed to make a guest appearance in DA2.

I kind of hate how Leliana's part in the ending of DA2 was. It seemed to be totally contradictory to how she ended up in my DA:O save (even though I imported it to DA2)

I think for me it was the way they all looked and acted like they were trendy characters on some version of Byker Grove set in the southeast, and Morrigan in particular reminded me of the era when the BBC were ditching all their RP children's TV presenters with morons whose half formed mouths could not emit English words properly, bu the process was incomplete, so for a while they had cocky gob[censored]es who spoke in a plummy and strangled accent, but with their tone of voice and attitude being that of Gen X teenagers.

I never really liked the "bad" girl types.

Promiscuity, doom 'n gloom attitudes, and being self centered just don't really appeal to me.

I didn't really think of Morrigan as exciting; she was better at being a pain in the neck!
She is different from most/average. And different = fun and exciting. She's not scared to challenge a male and she will stand her ground and go after what she wants with ruthlessness. I find it attractive.

I guess it can be. I don't find it intimidating. If she wasn't a fighter I wouldn't like her so much. But those legs are nice looking. She can make them move, fast. <3

CViper is a good one too. Second to Chun Li of course (in SF)

If VNs count as games, then http://i.imgur.com/xiQTg.png from YU-NO. She doesn't speak, but she has a very sweet personality.

If not, then Quistis from FFVIII. :hubbahubba:

Leliana is a strong contender, loved her accent. Do have a tendency to go for bad girls though: Bloodrayne, Jeanette from VTM: Bloodlines and Catwoman from Arkham City. Grey DeLisle injects so much sensuality and personality into every character she voices it's hard to resist. I'll go for Catwoman, she really does deserve a game of her own.

So yeah I'm going to substitute girl for guy because, yunno, I like boys.

It's a toss up between either Alistair from DAO (because hes genuine, funny and has a good heart) or Duke Nukem. Just because who the hell wouldn't. Amiright?

A Catwoman game would be awesome.

I spent a lot of time ..uh.. studying her model in Arkham City.

Yeeees...

Her wild hairstyles and somewhat impractical choice of a sharp metal hula hoop made her very... interesting.

Though the fact that she had daddy issues over a sword...

I have recently developed a nerd-crush for http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/1060828-bigthumbnail.jpgfrom Diablo 3.

Ever since I was eight or nine, I had a thing for http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/Raven-teen-titans-621486_568_836.jpgfrom Teen Titans.

I would not be able to tell a video game character I would settle down with because I find any female character in game always play strong, aggressive roles, which never suited me.

If it was from just fantasy overall, I would pick http://images.wikia.com/rosariovampire/images/0/05/Mizore-1-.jpg from Rosario+vampire. She is cute, loving, a bit crazy (as am I), and never really asserted herself.

Asuka Langley - EVA
Balalaika - Black Lagoon
Lia de Beaumont - Le Chevalier d'Eon

... or Duke Nukem. Just because who the hell wouldn't. Amiright?
If Duke Nukem was real, I think you're the girl who had her face flat on the glass door in DN:F.

Alistair gets an automatic nomination for his lamppost in winter line. :D I remember seeing his voice actor in both House and Chuck and having a very difficult time keeping a straight face.

If I'm going to try seeing things from the other genders perspective then it's got to be Garrus Vakarian.
