Love (PC version)

Most detailed gameworld I've ever seen
Quests dont seem to be as pointless as some in Oblivion
The radiant AI seems a lot more improved
Far less generic dungeons than Oblivion which used the same 4 generic room & corridor combos for every dungeon just about
Supremely realistic armour and weapons.
Soundtrack
Singing bards in pubs
They actually found someone who can do skin textures finally!
Crafting
Not so linear mob scaling
Third person combat - obviously what the game was designed to be played in.

Hate

Steam
Kids with American accents (nothing against Americans, just very jarring)
Havok physics engine - this has always been glitchy. I'm suprised its still being used - guess it must be cheap or something
First person combat - really its abysmal.
Not optimised for the PC. Very obviously a console port.
Poor and unresponsive UI.
Its too easy to buy or sell something by mistake.
Not really a hate, more of a meh - reused Oblivion/Morrowind soundtrack.
Some voice acting is really bad (Farengar).

But those hates are more annoyances than hates to be honest.

I love the music and sound effects

I hate the bugs, the UI worst conversion i've seen for a long time, its like they didn't even try! The visuals are sub par as well, it's pretty disappointing.

Would it be too wild of a guess to say your from the UK?

Love voice acting!

Hate the journal. Its too brief. One liners? Come on. Oblivion's journal was slightly better and morrowinds even more so as you could read about how you got a quest and where to find the goal. But with Skyrim, if you turn off the quest map markers, my preferred game style, there is no way to find where you are supposed to go.

Love new engine!

Hate brightness contrast in some textures, way too bright on occasion, way too dark in others.
