I don't pay full game prices for map packs that force me to re-level, which is why I never buy CoD games.

I will play it though since my brothers are buying it for me (just like they bought me the last few map packs). My one friend is buying it because "everyone else is going to be playing it".

It has a very cult-like feel to it.

It doesn't force you to prestige, its an option you can take and it gives several warnings before doing it :confused:

'Cause it wasn't realistic. It was in Bungie's intentions to make the game as realistic as possible, because games about super-marines 500 years in the future killing aliens deserves realism.

I wasn't referring to Prestige mode, I was referring to the fact that they release the same game every year with the only real difference being the maps, hence, a map pack that requires you to level a new character to play on them.
