An "abandon quest" option

I'd love this option, mainly for the quests that have no real journal entry, you have so many misc. quests that it's easy to forget what they actually, which really messes up the immersion, simply having the ability to drop and get them again would be fantastic.

It might be better to have a Hide Quest option instead. Then you have the same result as ignoring it, but you don't have to look at them in the list.

Oblivion has a mod like that. I really like that a ton.

I would much prefer an option to hide quests that i don't want to complete, incase i change my mind about them at a later date and have difficulty finding the start of said quest (Or i run into a glitch and can't restart said quest..)

If the player quest journal menu had a button at the top of the screen that would allow you to switch between two journals, the first for current/followed/active quests and the second for hidden quests, as well as being able to move a quest from one 'journal' to the other at the push of a button you could easily just hide away any quests you dislike or if you never want to complete them or if you just feel your journal is to cluttered and want to organise it a bit yourself etc!

For example if for whatever reason i don't want to continue the Thiefs Guild i could just click the 'Hide Quest' button next to the quest name (or in the quest description box etc). Which causes the quest to be 'removed' from my main quest list moving it to the second list, and could be switched back to the 'main journal' in the same way if i changed my mind.

This i imagine would be a doable mod (obviously that won't exactly help you console gamers out there though..)

Seriously though, its pretty unlikely Bethesday will implement anything like this themselves so your have to make do with cluttering journals with no possible sorting or search options or anything :(
A shame MS and Sony don't allow player made content on thier consoles.

Yeah, M$ is notorious for being money grubbing hardheads, they won't allow anything they can't make money off of. I remember a few years ago that the MMO Champions online was meant to be on the 360 to. They even had it programmed and ready to sell, but M$ wanted to large a chunk of the subscription fee, so it was scrapped.

Sony is a bit more lenient, they're a lot more friendly to indie developers.
