I'm about to start playing Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim i

Do you realise that Oblivion is set only a few years after Morrowind?, soo the champion of cyrodiil being the great grandchild of the the nevevarine, doesnt seem realistic.

Sir you are sick ! ;) I like that idea.
Soon i will do the same, just have to wait until my baby is born and i get some free time (joking - but i must have some free time for god sake)
I already have full Oblivion Release and Morrowind plus Bloodmoon + Tribunal.
Do you plan to use mods? (then your whole life could be too short :) )

Don't forget about mods. If you're only interested in what Beth included in quests and people in Morrowind and Oblivion, then there's still the awesome graphics improvements available that'll boost the experience without diverting from the vanilla games too much.

[edit]
And as said above: you should give Daggerfall a try as well.

Good Point, My Morrowind on my other PC looks like Oblivion and Skyrim with the graphics mods. However I could never attempt this endeaver. I have about 20Gbs and 500 extra hours each of gameplay mods and quests on TES 3 and TES 4. It would literally take me the rest of the year to finish all 3 games like that.....

I would probably go local. You could even have it be the same character. A elf strong in the use of magic can live 1,000 years.
One problem with that: the Champion of Cyrodiil eventually turns into a daedra, and makes an appearance in Skyrim. So huh, not really logical.

I'm also playing with the idea to replay all the games, but then as close to the main quest story and lore as possible. The Nerevarine would be a male altmer (they look most like the chimer after all, and I think it would be wrong for the Nerevarine to undergo the same curse as the Dunmer), the champ of Cyrodiil a male Breton (well, he/she can be anything really, I'm simply basing this on the daedra he'll become), and the Dovahkiin a Nord. Heck, they still could be descendants of each other, the children inherit the race of their mother in Nirn anyway.

Although, playing a super old elf (you can play a young character in both Morrowind and Oblivion, to become more aged in Skyrim) would be cool too, like that-guy-again said. You can imagine your character saying in-game "Yeah yeah, I know about that Nerevarine and Champion of Cyrodiil stuff, I'm them after all". And heh, you can also just imagine you made a friend from Cyrodiil replace you as the daedra temporarily, so he can fulfill the quest in Skyrim. ^^

Don't need no dunmer or altmer for that
Spoiler
the Nerevarine becomes ageless due to corprus.
Heeehhh. O_o I must've completely forgotten that. Now this becomes quite interesting.

It seems like I read somewhere that those games, or one of those games, wouldn't run with Win 7.
What would you do in that case?

I got Daggerfall working on my pc which is windows 7 64 bit.

I can't remember which site i downloaded it from it was so long ago but it came all set up and configured, all you have to do is click on the icon and your playing Daggerfall.

Took me over an hour to get out the first dungeon!

Saw this on the Gamefaqs boards last night. Well, good luck to you. I might try this if I can find a Xbox version.

I've got it all ready:

Tomorrow, I will begin the most epic gaming journey I've ever been on. There are only two rules: I must complete the main quest and all the faction quests before moving on to the next game, and there is no fast travel allowed.

Just a word of warning to you. In morrowind, the great house factions are exclusive. So thats 3 playthroughs. Not to mention the possibility of irreversibly damaging the thieves guild.

No Arena/Daggerfall? weak.

Also you have to spend a week modding Morrowind/Oblivion to perfection before you start.

dragonborn hero-

THAT is a choice you need to make. we could sit here all year dicussing and disputing. when i make my choice it will be based on my pregame thoughts and current gameplay ones. roleplaying, imo, is DEMANDED of skyrim so it flows pretty nice. take it as it comes: choose when your character must choose and just make sure the decision is based on your character at that point in time. then, you'll do it again with the end of oblivion.

don't cheat yourself.

i'll join you later...

Never played Morrowind, and can pick it up off Steam.

Not sure if I dare incase it saturates what I think of Skyrim currently :)

OP, If I had a whole year off, I might even do the same thing here. I seriously enjoy the lore in Skyrim and I really wanna have time to get into it more in the previous 2 series.

Anyways, good luck with your play through, I'm sure it's gonna be one hell of an epic journey.

PS. you should make some sort of blog to record your journey from time-to-time in certain series. Maybe once or twice a week on where your character is and when he/she is going into the next series. :P
