Another destruction damage topic

Why don't people simply lower the difficulty setting if they are getting hammered at the higher difficulties...that's what it is there for.

Okay, people's choice how they play the game...but if you choose NOT to enchant, choose NOT to use a lower difficulty level, choose NOT to recognise the fact that the game system has changed since Oblivion, that doesn't make the system broken...but it does make your judgement flawed.

I have to disagree with you Gungho. Changing the difficulty is a poor argument against a flawed system. Granted at the moment with no lighted-tunnel in sight, it is probably the best option available... but the dificulty was implemented to create a challenge. Both Archery and Melee scale, even with each skill learned plus the perk. Destruction stays the same and is all build on impact, which is a boring mechanic. The other issue is that you will use the same spell and stun continuously the enemy throughout the game. It tends to get dull.

So, sure you can play masters and constant stun yet hit the enemy with 23 fireballs OR you can one shot them with a bow. Logic flaw with change the difficulty.

But like I said, Beth is pretty obstinate so changing the difficulty is the only option.
