specific crashes in known problem areas such as Bonechill Passage.
That's over one of two MSST REFRs. Here's a http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?lpjny75fff85q9q that will prevent the crash.

Not everyone, specialy those new to the series, wants some homebrew patch, most want actual official support.

no ..they dont, they want fixing ASAP,
and if they did then this isnt the place to get it,the only way to get "official support" is to turn up at the bethesda workstations and demand it face to face.

i could be wrong, you can just post a link to any official support and i`ll be quiet.

the fact that its over a month and still no sign of official release, tells me they didnt even think about it until someone else had already done it.

i mean its not even a conspiracy theory that bethesda throws out the buggiest games on the market and leaves the fixing to the buyer.
thats a well known fact.

get 3 threads asking where the patch is and someone at beth twatters a message about still testing and loving you all and thinking of us at this festive time of year.
[of course reality is they know if we are getting it before xmas, and only when someone takes a dump and has a pda do we see tweets] ;)

hey ts holiday season...time to eat loads...relax...play a gam...i mean watch some telly

LMAO at the idea of the 4GB "homebrew" mod exploding my computer.

"Homebrew" QA Process:
- release kewl idea mod @ nexus
- hundreds of instant downloads
- insta-installed by hundreds of 24/7 geek types with 64-bit systems, great rigs etc
- near-instant feedback ("sux!" "awesome!" "won't load!" whatever)
- modder responds, releases beta 1.02
- repeat steps
- if it survives a day, stays in nexus "hot" list...used/tested by thousands more
- 24hrs late, 1.03 released, works pretty well

Bethesda QA Process:
- Jim notices a mod that fixes game has been running for a month on Nexus...no reports of pc's exploding
- Jim notices people screaming about this issue for some time here on forums
- Jim plans to roll mod-like fix into next patch (better late to party than never)
- Jim's boss delays the plan..."PC users are only 10% of clients...how does your work help the XBox?"
- Jim does right thing and fixes anyways, but on own time (hoping it works...boss said no QA resources to private crusade)
- Release in next patch and cross fingers
