The Blades were supposed to serve the Dragonborn. So why is it they demand the dragonborn to slay P? They should do as the Dragonborn says.

I like Esburn, but Delphine is such an annoying [censored]. I just use a mod to get around the whole "Kill Parthanax or we don't talk to you" part.

People don't seem to understand the implications of YOU killing Paarthunax!

You the Dovakinn absorb and destroy the dragons soul! you tear out the dragons soul when you killl it. Maybe he does deserve to die, but Is it really ours to judge what happens to his soul?

As far as I'm concerned with my current character it dosn't matter wether he deserves to pay for his crimes or not. His attitude torwards Delphine and Esbern is, "You want paarthunax dead? you kill him, but i won't be responsable for his soul"

Apperantly Delphine and Esbern are too wimpy to kill a Dragon by themselves, so Paarthunax continues to live, and the Blades won't help me because I said "no" on one little thing.

Back on topic, i personally don't like the Blades. But I have to say they were done well and add a dimension to the game.

Foul, Max von Sydow's voice is a delight...however you're right the blades are a bunch of extremisms who deal in absolute...

I love the blades because they show just how desperate things have become since the fall of the empire. It was a ballsy move on Bethesda's part to take such a beloved institution and make them so coldly pragmatic and bull headed. It served the story well, even though I'm sure they realized it would cause an uproar. Good writing if you ask me.

We are ok with being the guild master of the mages guild and not know magic.
We are ok with being the leaders of the companians even though we are not warriors.
We are ok with being the guild leader of the theives guild even though we are not theives.

But its not ok being barred from being the leader of the blades if we dont want to slay dragons?........
