Their just idoits I wish we had an option to kill them instead of Paarthurnax I mean seriously he is the best NPC in the entire game and the want you to kill him? Eff that Delphine should be killed useless character hate her. Your thoughts ?

I DESPISE Delphine (Esbern would be okay if he didn't also want to kill Paarthurnax.), but I like the Blades Armor, the Katanas, and Sky Haven Temple. I can't exactly judge the blades based on the actions of the last two surviving ones, so I can't really comment.

I like Esbern, and I like the Blades as a faction. Delphine just needs to remember who the Dragonborn is, or else she may find herself fus-ro-dah'd off of that mountain ...

Generally no. I did play one Orc that joined them as he was all about honor and dragon hunting. Most all my other characters that did the MQ did not join them.

To be honest Bethesda just made P too likable.

I did like them until they demanded I kill Paarthurnax or else they'd completely abandon me, despite it being me that formed them again and [censored] rescued Esbern and saved Delphine from becoming a charred dragon snack. After that not so much.

I like her and Esbern, but not the way they go about their business.

But I guess if it was reality, you could either side with the Greybeards for peace between dragons and man, or side with the blades and hunt the dragons. Guess it would be kinda weird to go out hunting dragons with the blades in the morning then spend the afternoon meditating on Fus with Parthuunax.

In Oblivion I like them, but in Skyrim I don't. They are a bunch of Dragon hating asshats. Most of the Dragons are dikes, but you do have nice Dragons like Paarthurnax. Who they want me to kill because he is a Dragon. They don't care that he changed for the better. They just want him dead because he's a Dragon.

What I really love is that they want nothing to do with me until I kill him. Even though I did all those quest for them. They only thing they are is a bunch of users that can't do their own dirty work.

Dont like them, hate Delphine and her attitude and I really miss Baurus and Jauffre they were so much more respectful than the bumbling duo we get in the modern blades.

Yeah, Baurus died in the sewers a few times in my playthrough, hated when that happened.

Well actually they want him dead because he was Alduin's right hand dragon in the Dragon War and was responsible for the deaths of thousands of humans, they feel he should pay for his crimes.

Yes I really dislike the blades, loved them in oblivion though.

I actually like the new flavour they bring in. Delphine is someone you can really dislike because of her bossiness and arrogance (despite her rarely showing off her rapping skills to me ), and Esbern is the one wise old man who hates to get in conflict with someone and likes his peace and quiet. I kind of understand them, they're afraid the strongest dragon aside of Alduin could lose control again anyway, and they'd rather take preventive measures instead of waiting and take the chance hundreds of people would die before anyone realizes what's going on. Besides, as P'nax himself says, trusting a dragon really is a dangerous thing to do. You're the little prey trusting the big predator after all, as a normal human on Nirn it'd be very stupid to just blindly trust that predator.

On the other hand, I'm a little prey with the abilities of the big predator, thus capable of fighting one-on-one with a dragon, so I just said "Hey he's cool and I like him, let's be friends!". I'd rather give him a chance for redemption than immediately kill him because of some obscure past in which he only followed his instincts. Besides, he could prove to become a great asset to me. I wanna be fwiends with the dwagons!

I like them and have the highest respect for Delphine for snatching that horn. I was overjoyed when I went down these stairs in that secret room and saw the Katanas on the wall: the good old times are back!
The whole "kill Paarturnax"-thing felt so artificial and contrived that I chose to ignore it.

I think the Dragonborn should slay Paarthurnax before he dies himself/herself. Old friends doing battle before their death, that way it's guaranteed Paarthurnax will never be a threat to Nirn.

Blades in name only as far as I'm concerned and undeserving of the title.

One of my characters ancestors was a Knight Brother during the Oblivion crisis, they were the Blades... this current rabble aren't fit to bear the name.

well seeing how theres no septim emporer to guard anymore and that dragons are coming back, their prioties understandably got switched around.

I like them, they have opened my eyes like mr house did in fonv. No way am I saying they are brilliant like mr house but how they opened my eyes towards a faction. Mr house opened my eyes that the bos in the majave were not the same bos of the wasteland. The blades have opened my eyes that paar is not a friend, hes just someone who had the same goal as me and like everyone else needed the dragonborn to do his work.

They opened my eyes that paar did not help mankind out of pity or friendship, he helped us because he and the dragons wanted alduin ousted from leaderahip. we fight alduin outta of survival, the dragons only helped us not bc of the injustice that was done, in paars words they were doing as dovahs do, but bc alduin was not supposed to rule over them. That was all, they were helping us so that we could oust their king, nothing more. Not outta friendship, duty, regret, or making amends for past wrongs, ONLY bc alduin was not supposed to rule and that it wasnt his place to rule.

Also as far as the ultimatum, they are dragonslayers and tell you that at the very beginning. It makes no sense to spare a dragon thats not under anyones control and is no longer being useful. Hes not off gathering dragons under our command, no hes gathering a grp of dragons under the command of the righteousness of HIS thuum.

I haven't played the main quest line in a while so I did forget about that. But he did help out the Dragonborn in defeating Alduin. They should have pardoned him for that. He did kill thousands of humans, but if he didn't help defeat Alduin. He would have destroyed the world, or something like that.

I like Esbern, and I loved the blades from back in the day. But I don't like these new blades at all. I don't much like the Penitus Oculatus either, but I like em better than the blades of now. I just wish the Blades were more like Barus
