Anyone else carried a character across from oblivion to skyr

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:23 am

I carried my Altmer Inteo over from Oblivion. During the great war, people started to become racist towards him, being an Altmer and all, even though he was a hero, people didn't trust him anymore, some said he was a spy, others just downright hated him just for being an elf. He eventually went into exil, and began living on his own in the woods. He grew to resent people for how they were, and began a kinda crusade of sorts "Death Note" style. People he deemed bad he would eliminate. He did this for a while, attacking Thalmor, and imperials alike.

The Dark Brotherhood eventually caught wind of his actions, and extended an invitation to join their ranks. He was growing weary of living alone, and yearned for a place to call home among people who wouldn't hate him for who he was. So he joined them. Life was good for a while, he was already proficient in archery and stealth, and so he fit right in, he had a home, a family, and he still got the chance to eliminate those he saw unfit to live.

As time went on, he started to worry about dying. He was already old, and his missions were always risky. So he began research in to magic looking for ways to prolong his life. Eventually he decided the easiest way was to just ask Vicente to make him a Vampire, he weighed that living immortal was a good enough pro to out weight the cons of being a vampire. He soon realized that he enjoyed the hunt, searching for prey and hunting them down, And he had found his way to stay alive indefinitely. All he had to do was avoid the end of a blade, which was of no worry to him, being a Vampire, and an expert at stealth.

Eventually the war hit even the sanctuary, and he was forced to leave his home after it was destroyed. He decided to change his identity, and flee to Skyrim with Vicente. The remaining members of the DB left and went their separate ways as well, as not to be hunted down together. On his way to the border of Skyrim, he came across the portal to the Shivering Isles. He remained there for a while, helping Sheogorath as he saw fit, eventually it came down to the event of releasing Jyggalag, and Vicente decided to remain in the Shivering Isles as the new Sheogorath, he had already been alive for hundreds of years, he was already going mad from that, and so he decided what better a place to be mad than this? With that, Inteo left the Shivering Isles, and spent the next few years traveling all of Tameriel occasionally hearing from Vicente and returning to the Shivering Isles from time to time.

He eventually realized that even though death may never come for him naturally, he may still die one day. It was merely a matter of time till some bandit, or guard got in that "Lucky arrow" and finished Inteo off. Recalling Umaril's own pact with a Daedra, he realized he could do the same, as old Vicente was now Sheogorath, and a Daedric prince. He returned to the Shivering Isles and asked his old friend if this could be done. Sheo said "Why anything can be done! I could gut you right here and now! Or I could turn this flower into a snowflake! Ha haha! After an agreement, in which Sheo used all of Inteo's own strength as payment, they made the pact, truly making Inteo immortal. For when ever he is killed in Tameriel, he returns to the Shivering Isles to be resurrected as a Daedra would.

And with that, my Character (Around the beginning of Skyrim) Crosses the border into Skyrim, only to be captured by some imperials suspecting him of being a Thalmor spy. Hence why they were able to catch him, he was powerless, and hence why he did not fight his execution, for he would have just been resurrected in the Shivering Isles. And that, is the story of my elf Inteo.

My Morrowind character, who was not the Nervarine, turned out to be the CoC in Oblivion! =)

I made a new character for Skyrim, though, as it wouldn't make sense for an Orc to live that long xD

Wait all of you carried your Oblivion characters over? But the Champion of Cyrodil is already in Skyrim. Only he/she is Sheogorath now.

I guess you guys just didn't do the Shivering Isles quest?

Well it does, when your "Toon"(God I hate that word) is actually a character in the next game.

But whatever.

Well, my character is a descendant of the CoC/DC. Oddly enough, my DC was a cellmate with the Nerevarine.

My character is the same one I played in Morrowind and Oblivion - a Breton Vampire just trying to make some subtle changes in the world by any means necessary. One that will lead societies to be better on the whole.

And to get some damned acceptance for once. Seriously, it's like the townspeople want me to drink their blood. If they wouldn't kill me on sight, I wouldn't even have to drink blood at all.

Yep my character has been used since Morrowind. He started off as a legion officer traveling with the Nerevarine and was rewarded when he returned to Cyrodiil. Ended up going broke and spent time in prison where he was released and became the CoC. He eventually became regent for Sheogorath before leaving the position when Sheo returned from "ordering" stuff. In the end he appeared in the mountains of Skyrim and stumbled into the ambush.

I have carried over a few, from Morrowind Nerevar Incarnate made a deal with Azura him and his offspring would be immortal, only if she did that would he even consider saving Vvardenfell and the world from the blight and the devil Dagoth Ur.

So yes I have carried over characters from the bloodline of Andoral my Altmer. I have carried over vampires and other mer as well. I like to recreate them and continue their stories for my own personal roleplaying reasons for ne its fun and extends the longevity of these games.

I dont think I could do it...it just seems..."wrong"

Im not trolling anyone here...infact some of you have some cool backround stories.

I just find way too many "what ifs" too fill in 200 yrs.

Also the sheogarth doppleganger thing. And my characters tend to be men (Bretons) so even if they werent sheo...well...they would be dead. I personally cant get over that...But if you guys can....more power to ya! You payed 60 bucks for the game. Play it how you want!

it does take some time to fill in a backstory and you just have to flesh out important events, it just makes the game more fun, and your characters live in a state of calm or got involved in the events in between both games.
