Even with such a percentage of citizens being armed, the local and foreign governments are still the biggest customers. This is why I believe in God, not religion. Religion is man made, which means it is open to outside influences, such as society or culture to affect its stance or views. Like I mentioned earlier, God was way more offended by Adam and Eve covering up their nakedness then he was when they were walking about naked(Actually, he wasen't offended at all about them walking around naked). Since then there seems to eb this taboo on looking at the bare human body and even the act of sixual relations(no idea why, without it we would be extinct).
