became single for the first time in almost 2 years.... just recently, actually. Ironically, right before skyrim.
Pros: i get to play skyrim uninterruptedly (besides 'school work', and other pointless distractions)
Cons: Its hard to be existed for much of anything anymore... but skyrim is deeeefitnetly trying :no:

you say pro: no gf means more skyrim time? not to mean anything bad mate, but if that was me, no matter how good a game is, id always miss love in my life. my girlfriend loves skyrim too, i live with her and our son, and i stay up all night if i wish playing games, she's cool with that.

I've recently got an annoying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tinnitus due to my secondary job as a sound engineer, I'm going to be a sad sad panda if I can't get rid of it before day one :sadvaultboy:

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you learn to cope with it.
I had to. It has always been with me since one fatal day at a shooting range in Texas City back in the 70's.
I had failed to put on ear protection and it only took one loud report from a 30 caliber weapon to cause
a ringing session.
I was in my mid 20's as I recall.
It wasn't until days later I noted the nonstop ringing.
It is now 2011, now that I'm thinking about it it is annoying me . I never sought treatment. I'm not sure if any exists
that are sure to work.
I learned to live with it. Some people I hear have mental issues. Maybe I did but they were undiagnosed.

Good luck.

Finished 10th grade, moved, got a ton of stuff that I was wanting back then (such as the Nintendo 64 Expansion pack :D ), and beat Oblivion's:

* Main Quest
* Mage's Guild
* Fighter's Guild
* Arena
* Thief's Guild
* Nights of The Nine
* Shivering Isles
* Mehrune's Razor
* And tons of side quests

All within 4 days at level one.

Oblivion was too easy, hope they fix that with Skyrim.

Only two significant things:

-Enlisted into the US Army National Guard
-Became engaged with my girlfriend (9 months left until we marry!)

So close now to 11-11-11! I'm glad I choose the Guard and only drill part time (besides deployments) because I still get to enjoy things I've been looking forward to for a long while. I remember thinking about what the next Elder Scrolls could be about shortly after finishing Oblivion. It's funny because I was pretty much sure it was going to be about a rebellion and I was close.

Lets see.
-Quit WoW like a few others.
-Heartbroken
-Got a new job, doing very well at my new job. Working on getting a promotion.
-Moved
-Started playing Diablo 2 again.
-Learning bass guitar. (Kinda, more off and on. But I'm pushing toward accomplishing this more recently.)
-Completed P90X (Workout program with Tony Horton, it works. Tough on the results when you don't follow the diet though.)
-Starting round 2 November first.

Just to get my license and head to college and I'll be well on my way.

What the hell! Stop copying the things that happened in my life while waiting for Skyrim!

Mine starts a couple months before the announcement.

- Got married in October 2010 (we met from an MMORPG around a year earlier, we quit around August/September 2011), originally planned for December, moved up to October

- Started getting together documents for Permanent Residence to Canada in December 2010

- Moved to Canada in April to be with my wife

- Submitted Canadian Permanent Residence App in May 2011

- Wife gave birth to our baby girl October 5th, had a memorable 5 day stay at the hospital (Postpartum and then NICU), came home with baby for Canadian Thanksgiving

- Became a Permanent Resident of Canada in mid-late October (citizenship late 2014)

Sufficed to say, the last year has been busy as hell, and so far the best year of my life. :)

Well, I transitioned from my junior year to senior year (going to have to prepare to apply to universities within the next month - filling out application forms, getting recommendations, etc.), I think I've been lucky enough to grow an inch or maybe two (still short, though), I finally got a new passport to replace my old, outdated one (plans to visit Egypt were postponed for obvious reasons :(, but operation visit France is still well underway), I spent some vacation time in Myrtle Beach and Boston, I played a few new games, broke my PS3's rumble controller (rumble doesn't work well anymore, stuck with my old, non-rumble controller :() by dropping it too much, and that's about it.
