Apologies owed to Bethesda...

Post » Sun Nov 04, 2012 5:43 am

I actully havent found many bugs. and all of them where just things like wolves flying around and that bug with the giants. And both made me laugh anyways.
The only complaint i have is that dawnguard bug where you cant por the water in the thing. And no, i dont have the unnoficial patch.

apologizing to Bethesda is like apologizing to a car salesman that sold you a car promising it will go 150,000 miles but breaks down every 500 miles, knowing full well how it would perform

For me it runs as promised my friend. Perhaps the problem was put a 150 000 miles car on a mud road, then you got a very nice car ruined.

I was comparing it to how bethesda said that we could play for 200 hours of content but on ps3 some of us can't even get close to that without our games freezing or lagging and that Bethesda knew that this would happen and lied to us

In that case, I dont know any of the technical specs of the PS3 to lay an opinion on it, so, I dont know if the cause could be the console, THAT console specifically or the game. A damaged DVD ? I dont know.

Came off that way to me, but maybe I'm wrong. All I'm saying is it's already bad we HAVE to wait don't like people rubbing my nose in it too.

I dont know, for what I see the most bugs comes from the console players. I sorry for them, but I think this kind of games suits better on a PC.

Yes, that is sadly true. I just say what I saw on the forums the most. But that supports the point, that this kind of complex game is more suited for PC knowing the tools it has to be, in this last case, partially fixed by the community.

it was bethesda's poor porting skills they have done it with many other games they knew this would happen they admitted it and they lied to us before launch not to mention they only gave xbox review copies they gave PLAYSTATION magazine a xbox review copy

I wish they would talk more. There are exceptions: Vsions forum posts, if I was Pete Hines I would have shut my Twitter account under the weight of the pre-release madness, and Wes Johnson gave me a wonderful explanatory PM after I posted a scathing attack on Oblivion's Sheogorath accent(s) explaining exactly why he was voiced that way, but PS3 users do feel left in the dark, and GStaff's posts are businesslike and all too rare.

Other than that, free extra content in patches, serious amount of content for your money, my (and many others) personal favourite worlds of any games, and I am sure there is a team working hard to get around the PS3 architecture/memory partitioning, but a little more explanation of who is doing what and what problems they have to get around with some mentally complex code would go a long way.

We are customers and fans, they could make us feel like family by taking a few minutes out a week to post something that would engender a lot more understanding than bare bones announcements of "what we are working on".

If that is really the case, it was too bad. But then, the game is FINE, just the porting was sadly done. And I dont think the same people who worked hard on develop the game were the people in charge of the porting matter. Just my tought.

Seems a lot of the complaints are coming from people that have no idea how to make a game anyways and would in all honesty make a much much worse game than this.

Perhaps they are just tired or overwhelmed. We must take in account, they are not in a box office playing and ejoying, they are working, and sorting a lot of pressures... worst if they read the forums. Imagine, you are tired, working in your office trying to resolve loads of config problems then one of your mates came and say "hey dudes, know what I readed on beth forums??" . Yes, it can be hell to work like that.
