also, about special forces, you are right, but they are only allowed to do it so they can blend in a little better in Afghanistan. If they go anywhere else, they have to shave. I guess it sets a precedent, but I still am doubtful that you can in Brink

Actually thats not enitrely true. Once you reach a certain level amongst those force you're allowed to keep facial hair even wear not military garb while amongst your pers and higher ranks. Its all about keeping in character if you will. A lot of this is CIA based aswell as they have operatives around the world constantly blending in. One of the reasons I laughed when the President said we don't have any ground forces in Libyia...like heck we don't lol, only those we're not suppose to know about. We have people on the ground calling in strikes, verifying targets and working with the indigenous people. We've been doing it since WWII...maybe even WWI. Its just the way we do things.

Anyway. I'd just like to see a beard option just for custimaztion sake if nothing else. It could even be groomed and clean...just as long as its sorta bushy, I'll be fine.
