Armor... or lack thereof...

Ok, so with all this in mind, what would be the best armor for my dunmer character to wear that most accurately portrays a dunmer?

Probably Ebony. It looks great on a Dunmer and like said before in this thread, it is Dunmer design. As well as Elven Armor.

The Dark Brotherhood armor seems to look best on them and it looks more like something the Morag Tong would wear.

I think either Glass or Ebony, depending on whether you use heavy or light armor.

Random note, I wish dragonscale armor was more streamlined. It looks too bulky for light armor, espescially in the helmet and shoulders.

Robes do need more variety. Heck, they should have ones that have some armor on them. Clothing in general is lacking. Why is there only one type of pair of pants in the game?

IDK.

All the cloth "armor" for mages or just for regular people is just a recolor of themselves.

What you said and my take on Heavy Dragon Armor:
Yea heavy dragon armor looks like ***** in my opinion. I only make them to sell or to put on a manikin. Heavy needs a major overhaul to have more scales and less bone looking. What they did not think they could have the scales put over the bone to give it a more Dragon look.

Leather armor looks way too bulky considering it's just leather... Dragonscale would be medium armor if medium armor was in Skyrim.

I'm Dunmer (light armour), and I think Glass looks way to big and bulky for a Dark Elf, or any Elf for that matter.

IMO, it should be very unusual for an Elf to wear Ebony. They should have Ebony light to choose from.

Fur armor seems to be a very simple armor, so the warlike nomadic Khajiit probably do use fur armor. Not from their own race, obviously.

They should bring back "Her Hands" and regular "Indoril/Ordinator" armor.

Ebony was much better in Oblivion that's for sure.

Umm, no. Ebonys not perfect in Skyrim but it was crap in Oblivion.

I find ebony better than oblivions but not by much, still feels like something out of DBZ to me, I really hate the shoes helmet and torso, honestly I only like the weapons and the gauntlets, even though I think the gauntlets should look smaller.

The only think I disliked about the Oblivion one was the helmet. The only thing I liked about the Skyrim one was the helmet. Weird isn't it?
