How can you like a guy that tried to kill you twice? First time, he put a bullet in your head.... Second time, he sends four thugs to do the job. And you can LIKE this guy???? Seems to me, that someone that is THAT determined to see me dead, again...... needs to get dead before he is successful at putting me in another shallow grave.

Yeah, he ended up being a likeable character. I just wish they implemented him into Wild Card, he even implies that you can team up. It's a shame, really.

He would've made a great companion..
Of course you'd argue about who shot who every now and then..

Give him a bobby pin and a stealth boy. Your opinion of him will drop back down to "coward" when he uses both of them instantly, alerting the guards and leaving you for dead (once again)

I went "Wtf?" when i saw the Maria 9MM at his Pocket....That was really Bizarre because he just could pop it out...but maybe he didn't have ammo.....

I love how everyone thinks he's an honorable guy just because of his stuff upper lip in the face of death. This is exactly what he's counting on - people assuming he's decent and reasonable until he can gain the upper hand on them again. I like the guy (who doesn't?), but he wouldn't hesitate to turn on you again if you gave him the opportunity.

It's a shame he didn't show that strength when me and him plotted to escape together. I untied him, and he just picked himself up before Ceasar smacked his head off with a right hook (literally).

There ~~are two~~ one explanations for the pistol on his corpse
1# For easy convenience of looting so players who didn't kill him at the Tops aren't punished
~~2# He knew Caesar would kill him the moment he pulled out the pistol~~

As I recall, he had Maria but he didn't have any bullets. Might explain why he didn't shoot you...

I have Black Widow perk so I just let him think he's going to get busy with me and then I let him have it. I have no remorse at all after what he did to me.

Lol, I just don't understand HOW he thought going off to his room with a girl he'd tried to kill was a good idea. How many points did he put into his common sense stat, again? :laugh:

Still, maybe Benny does have a soft spot. I mean, he lets the female courier live (well, if she doesn't kill him first) on the Black Widow route... Killing her while she was asleep would've been horribly easy.

I wish Benny could have been a companion after confronting him the first time, if you have a high enough speech skill or something. Or maybe someone you side with during the Yes Man quests.

Guys, if you ask Caesar a bunch of questions after you kill Mr. House, you can ask how he captured Benny. Won't tell you how though, because it's for me to know and you guys to find out also.

You know, I really didn't have a problem with Benny shooting me in the head, then sending four thugs with switchblades and silenced pistols to kill me. I let him go at Caesar's Camp, and plan to do so basically every time.

Shouldn't have killed Chance, but aside from that, he is an okay guy.

I think they did it just so you could loot the gun from his corpse tbh. The guy's a snake, I don't think he'd think twice about bringing a gun to a knife-fight.
