The listed stats take into account the damage per second, not damage per shot. It also assumes every bullet fired hits the target's torso area - ignoring accuracy, but accounting for RoF. I'm pretty sure the Euston, if you're hitting consistently, does damage FASTER than the Gerund, even though each Gerund shot is more damaging.
Thanks for the info that makes sense. The Euston did seem to be taking guys down faster but that may have been due to accuracy. Its odd though that they would give something a higher DPS rating because, like you said, that is only if the shots connect and not per bullet. I am trying to figure out what guns I want to throw a silencer on because I know that the silencer decreases the damage and would like to silence the stronger guns, and increase the accuracy of the weaker ones.
