Meeting Caesar.
He's the best part of the entire game to me.

I thought Caesar was one of the best characters too but I felt his dialogue could have been better. I didn't expect him to spout curses at all, I dunno I don't have a problem with cursing but I felt like it didn't fit his persona or more, the persona I thought he'd have.

The ending I got was so satisfying. It actually reflected what I wanted to do instead of routing me into something I didn't want.

I think some of my favorite moments were talking to Veronica. Felicia Day did a good job with her lines and she was just sort of fun to talk to overall.

Yeah I was kinda surprised to hear him swear as well but I kinda like it.
I mean, when you first look at him you see a very respectable, wise and mature man and the swearing doesn't ruin it but it adds a little to the shock value.
It is not something people expect to hear when speaking with him.
And I love the unexpected that totally makes me go "Wow, what? What just happened!?". :P

I thought Caesar was great...you're expecting a well spoken diplomic guy like the Roman Caesar. But he is a bit like that, but has that special touch of wasteland to make him unique.

Ceasar was very interesting in his comportment, which, I thought, was a nifty story hook into understanding the real legion. I thought it was great.

Meeting and talking to Yes Man for the first time, he seems cheerful and happy in a place of gloom.

Hitting a Deathclaw in the 'Deathclaw Canyon' across the river in the chest with an AMR, and watching it go flying sky high.

All of this Caesar love? I found him pretty underwhelming to be honest. Apart from Lanius, I find Caesar and his little 'not a tribe, we're Romans bro' a bunch of spear chucking savages with no sense of the honor.

I guess we have different opinions on what's cool.

To me diving into that beautiful cave with the crystals and stagnites, the fishes, music and the sounds of the water around me was really really nice. I love the wasteland for the endless action and killing, but sometimes it's nice to find those hidden sanctuaries, that are just there to be wonderful to watch.

Yes, I think the folks at Obsidian made some very nice caves. I especially like, including all the stuff you listed, the colors of the various fungi.

Especially the glowing mushrooms inside, they added to the creepy factor.

I agree, I think Graham (Burned man) would be a much more interesting character to talk to.

Hanlon was really annoying when I first met him thanks to the over exaggerated and painful accent; but he actually have some interesting plans....

Best moment?.....I'd have to say my first visit to the Strip. It took me longer than I thought it would, which made it all the more rewarding.

I accidentally ran into Sgt. Mcgee aimlessly walking (so I thought) through the wasteland. A couple of in game hours later I received a message saying he had been killed. My curiosity got the best of me so I re-loaded a previous save and decided to follow him. Turns out he is on a treacherous journey to the front lines at Ft. Forlorn Hope. I decided to escort him there all the while clearing his path of any dangers. Arriving at Ft Forlorn Hope Sgt. Mcgee enters, walks a bit more and stops next another officer. To my surprise that other officer is Lt. Hayes who had mysteriously disappeared from Primm after defeating the Powder Gang at the prison. Other than being able to inform Lt. Hayes of the success at the prison there wasn't any new dialogue or mission update. Still I found it quite touching that I able to help Sgt. Mcgee reach his destination and reunite him with his Lieutenant.

This has been my favorite moment so far. :touched:

Also, I got a kick out of Festus, he is amusing and funny.

!!!MINOR SPOLIER ALERT!!!

You know that place where 2 NCR soldiers are lying on the ground, not far from each other, one dead and the other one wounded and trapped on the mine?
I couldn't see the mine so I failed to disable it and the poor guy died... well, at least I thought so. A couple of days later I was passing through that same area when suddenly someone started talking to me. Believe it or not, it was the head of that NCR guy (blown by the mine) begging me to kill him and end his misery! Lol [censored]!
Being on very good terms with NCR and all I decided to ease his pain and blew his head to pieces. But now I heard another voice yelling at me - "You're mine now!" My first thought was "Holy [censored] it's an ambush!" but this time it was the other dead NCR soldier that somehow raised from the dead to avenge his friend. Well, not exactly raised since he was missing his arms and legs so the only thing he could actually do was spin around on his back and yell at me. I knew this was probably the best and the funniest moment I'll see in the game but I had to move on so I blew his head off too and gladly the other NCR from the nearby base didn't seem to care that much. :)

Not a huge moment for a quest or anything, but I got caught in the Vicki and Vance casino by the NCR deserters while in my trading clothes (sixy sleepwear) instead of armor. Made for an interesting, but intense gunfight!

Finishing up Arcade's companion quest. I really enjoyed doing that one. His friends are so cool!

Oh, and confronting Benny. I thought I'd be more like, "YOU! *accusatory finger* How could you do that to me?! D':"
But instead I was like, "*giggleblush* Gosh you're so cute, mister."

I installed two mods: better night skies and moon, and something that reworked the entire lighting in the game (it plays with HDR) making the nights *really* freaking dark.

I restarted with a new character.

I arrived in Nipton 'round 2am . . . whoa. That was pretty intense.

I know I've already nominated vault 11, but I've just remembered my single favourite moment: the janitor robot in the Sunset Sarsaprilla factory. I loved that, 'twas fantastic.
