Best moment for me so far !

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:32 am

On a walk through the strip for the hundreth time i noticed something i didnt before, 3 women drunk and dancing in the fountain outside the lux. Then a copbot comes up to them and says "move along this
fountain is for wishing", man that was class. As i was recovering from this a drunk ncr solider chased a brahim through the strip, must be short on caps?

Meeting Caesar.
He's the best part of the entire game to me.

My best moment was (as absurd as it may sound) my first ending. It really grasped me with its comprehensiviness and gloominess seasoned with some amount of positivity and set the stage for the second runthrough.

Good one, complete with tumbleweeds and dynamite. If only he lit the dynamite with a match off his stubble instead of zippo!

I'm not trying to bash, but are you being sarcastic? I've been to the cave and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Is there something there I missed?

Shooting frag/dynamite out of enemies hand who is in a group of enemies and watching the fireworks.(the red and messy kind)
Picking up objects by clicking the right stick and using them to set off traps when you dont have the skills otherwise.

It is a sight to behold to me too.
A HUGE lake filled with crystal clear radiation free water.
Takes the breath away.

I thought they did a really good job on the underwater scenery, with the schools of fishes and all. Better than any of the Bethesda games. It actually seemed kind of realistic.

Ahyeah, I totally forgot about that part. I only swam down for the Boomer quest but man it looked really neat down there.

And as an addition to the last, I'd have to say the conversation I had with the Caesar. It was pretty profound with the really well characterised voice acting.

Good one, you really fell the anger/hatred when he curses and threatens. Is it John Goodman?

I meant the conversation that was friendly with the Caesar, and it's John Doman (if you were referring to my post to begin with).

One of the funniest moments so far for me is when you're talking to Sarah in Vault 21, and if you talk to her about leather suits, there's a speech option.. if your speech skill isn't high enough, you have the option to say something on the lines of - ''Looking at you in a leather suit makes me want to, uh.. blow my top?''

Made me lol for about 5 minutes.

Launching Bright's followers off to the promised land and leaving Bright standing on the launch pad. Dumb*ss should have got on the rocket instead of standing around making speeches....I still laugh at this, and the screenshot is a treasured memory of this game.

I guess we have different opinions on what's cool.

To me diving into that beautiful cave with the crystals and stagnites, the fishes, music and the sounds of the water around me was really really nice. I love the wasteland for the endless action and killing, but sometimes it's nice to find those hidden sanctuaries, that are just there to be wonderful to watch.

Boone's questline and the ending I chose. The good one with the acceptance :) that whole storyline was good.

Censored for spoilers. (Trust me, you do NOT want that quest spoiled.)

Vault 11, though it did leave me wondering why the majority of locations had nowhere near the same level of attention to detail and environmental story-telling.

Best moment I have had by far was
Spoiler
Having Neil distract the mutants of Black Mountain, then later finding that the distracted Nightkin had discovered Boone who I left down the track, and fragged him.

Dropping seven deathclaws at the trainyard with my last seven .308 rounds, finishing off the last two with my lever-action shotgun, then walking into the train station and killing a nest of giant ants with my combat knife.

I should have named my character Teddy Roosevelt.
