Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:36 am

Everyone remember those old threads that everyone was making way back before release? Well, now that we've all experienced the game firsthand, here comes another one. What do you think the best outside tracks to play alongside Skyrim are?

I like to experience the sounds of the game world... so yea, I play to Skyrim's music and ambient sound.

But if I had to choose music, I guess it would be something like this:

Plus, some kind of Celtic Music.

If I were to not listen to original music, I wouldn't have any music at all.

Other than the OST, I have been known to play Goat's "http://castlegoat.blogspot.com/" tribute to the Castlevania games. Castlevania + electric guitar + Skyrim = Awesome. His http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3FeY1Qngpc is just pure epic.

disturbed is perfect for skyrim "i am now an instrument of violence, i am a vessel of invincibility"
i think all that remains is pretty good for skyrim too, and sick puppies

I'm thinking Coldplay or Muse would go nicely with this game. They have that abstract and yet very peaceful (or warlike) attitude in their music.

I use Morrowind ST, Enya, and Braveheart ST if I ever find myself wanting music other than original Skyrim music.

I'm curious, why not just listen to the game's soundtrack?
