You could always just use the Novac home, since its actually intended as a player home. It only has one loading screen too if you don't count the fast travel to get there.

If you're wanting something less majestic you could always use Harper's Shack, its got a bed, some storage space, workbench, reloading bench, and a campfire right outside. I'm not a hundred percent on this but I think its probably the only place in the game where all of those things are consolidated in such a small area. Only downside is if you wander too far uphill from there you'll run into a pack of deathclaws.

2nd Novac motel, easy to get, near the center of the map.

Abandon Bunker is pretty good if you have dead money.

Abandoned Bunker is indeed a great place to use as a safehouse, I got a mod that places a hot plate inside the safehouse :)

Also if you move into Novac there is a workbench and reloading bench right out the gates in the gas station.

I use Novac. Got it early on before I reached the strip. Only one loading screen, and it's close enough to the centre of the map. Also Boone lives there.

I use Followers safehouse. It is not very hard to get liked by them and receive the key quite early in the game (compared to NCR, BOS, Legion). And It has some high end stuff too multiplas, tri-beam, hunting shotgun, DC journal of medicine..

I use Novac as well. I took my time getting to the strip, and I had tons of stuff packed away at the hotel. I didn't want to move anything at that point, and also I just like Novac too.

I just got the legion safehouse, a few times a week there's a merchant there that sells stealthboys, the only constant supply in the game. That coupled with the fact it's not a room that you have to travel through tons of loading screens to get to makes it my favourite.

If you have downloaded Dead money you can use the Abandoned Brotherhood of Steel bunker (Ejiah's room) it has everything you would need (e.g workbench, ammo bench , bed) and it only has one loading screen

Another vote for the abandon BoS bunker as it has all the cool stuff lying around and it now has a wonderful stack of 37 gold bars right in front of the Holovending machine. Gotta go there regularly to get my Sierra Madre chips voucher (1000) every few days. Still decorating. Novac is my second pic as it just feels cool with the big dino and its central to alot of better areas imo.

I use them all I have stuff spread all over I use every casino and free space i find. I am a wanderer and wish they had put that song in the game. Naturally it would have to be the Kings version. :tops:

The Novac motel room has everything - proximity to a fast travel point, reloading/work bench, doctor, shop and a nice repair lady just a short walk away.

I like using victors shack in good springs. Bed, storage, and a robot guard.

Novac hands down, might try Harper's Shack next time around because it's one of the few places with everything - reloading bench / workbench / bed / fire pit outside. Confirmed safe storage. Just no convenient merchants or well rested bonus.

I use a mod that puts a fast travel point at the entrance to the Lucky 38, so I'm still using that suite. It's no more of a pain to enter than my Megaton house in Fallout 3.

Am I the only one who use Pete's house for sleeping and Mitchell's house for water (HP) without using stimpacks in Goodsprings?

I doubt the only one. But why sleep in a sleepy dust bowl when I can sleep in the Lucky 38? :disguise:

Why disable him? He hands you the Presidential Suite on the 22nd floor.

I know this isn't real life, but on the story wise i think its best for the city not to be rule by a half computer/half human, NCR is the way to go!
