Beta=later release. Ugh.

I am wondering how far away dawnguard is,In one week some people will have the beta. But how far away is it to the people that didnt got selected? and then we have this 30 day earlier thing. i am guessing august for xbox and september for pc and ps3,Or maybe july and august

I personally believe it'll be released in August. Just seems like the "Sweet Spot", 8months since Skyrim launch gives the prospect of Dawnguard being massive, while still leaving lots of room at the end of the year for other releases.

Yes a later release and a less bugged DLC, I'm happy with this.

The beta was obviously a planned point in development. It's not like they just decided "let's have a beta!" and knocked back the release date to allow for it.
This. We have done beta testing on all of the other patches that are much smaller than this so why wouldn't they for the dlc? There's a LOT more room for error with it than the regular patches.
