So Bethesda must now be Working on TES6 or Fallout 4 : Othor Games

I think its cool now that Skyrim has pretty much released that Bethesda has most likely begun work or at least the foundation for what will be the next Elder Scrolls or Fallout game (more likely Fallout)

so what do you guys think is going through Bethesda's minds right now, tons of brainstorming on where the next ES game will be or what to do with FO4?

Wasn't Fallout 3 made by a different team than Skyrim?

Anyway, right now they are probably working on Skyrim DLC/expansions.

Pretty sure it's Fallout 4 they are working on, because I recall hearing somewhere that it has been confirmed.

I assume they have started on the design phase of Fallout 4, like they have done beforehand like with Skyrim.

Just because Skyrim is done doesn't mean Behtesda is working on Fallout 4. They did say they have 2 teams working on a game, and later admitted one was Skyrim. We can all asume the other is Fallout 4, so my guess is they are working on TES VI. I voted Fallout 4 though because I am sure they have been working on it and will be released next year.

Most likely efforts will be geared towards the next Fallout but its also safe to assume TES6 will be having its story/foundations discussed.

Its been pretty well established that they stagger their developing processes to be able to work on two games simultaneously. It is also believed that they have fallen into a pattern of TES - Fallout - TES - Fallout and so on. Therefore, while Skyrim was in the later stages of development they had a team working on the next Fallout. So while the full force of their development team will be geared toward their next game, they will have a section of their staff working on DLC for Skyrim.

As others said, I believe they have multiple product teams, with some talent probably switching between teams at times. The team of people who worked on Skyrim is probably working heavily on developing patches to fix remaining problems in Skyrim, and DLC/expansions for Skyrim.

Most likely they're working on patches and DLC for Skyrim. Your poll didn't have that option though

Personally I'd hope they're taking a bit of a breather so they don't stress themselves silly after the last 11 months.

Nah, they're probably going to be patching Skyrim for a couple of months. Then working on DLCs.

No way they're working on TES VI this soon. At least nothing substantial.

My guess is Fallout 4 and DLC for Skyrim.

They have the same general team of people working on both franchises, and I definitely wouldn't expect it next year. Maybe the next 2 or 3 years.

I definitely think we'll get FO4 before TES 6 though. I'm sure they're trying to go back and forth with both franchises.

They aren't 'working' on it atm, more like planning a bit and getting the general feel of the game. They are working on patches for Skyrim and DLCs for Skyrim. But they might be getting the story ready for fallout 4 already. I hope we get Fo4 on the ps3 generation as a good-bye to that generation of consoles and TES 6 on ps4. However,if ps4 is released 2013 or something, then I'd definitely want Fo4 to take full advatage of the new tech.

Other than the support and/or patching people, I doubt anyone is doing much work at Bethesda right now. Games out, it's holiday time.

I picked Fallout 4, but honestly I would love to see a new space faring series. I think beth could do an awesome job with the tech they have now.
Oh and its been vacation time at beth for a few weeks now for most staff I assume. A well deserved one too. (I hope, cant play Skyrim till the 12th)
