Wtf why put it in the game in the first place? What about the freaking snow prince huh? You act as if Frost resistant people have never been terrorized by the powers of ice. To this day the Nords STILL pray they never face someone with those powers of ice. Besides im shooting freaking spikes of ice into someone gut frost resistance my ass

Perhaps Skyrim isn't quite the game you're looking for if this kind of stuff bothers you, because you will find a lot of it.

Once again I feel I have to say that Skyrim is great and the team that made it worked harder than ever to see it through. My topic title is probably misleading in alot of ways but I respect Bethesda and their hardwork. Its just weird for me to play an in depth game like this where plenty of emotions and ideals that strike a cord within you as a person. But its a game and it has different races to play as that has their own unique perks. It just so happens that I like to play as a race that the faction that I identify with hates. that combined with other crushed role playing dreams just pushed me over the edge... Aha I guess its kind of funny cause I actually thought that youd be able to do whatever and be anything in Skyrim. Guess not.

all my character uses is Two-Handed Swords and Frost destruction, I see no problem with it. o.o
I refuse to get any other destruction spells that aren't Frost (disincluding your starting Flames spell, Kind if wish I could get rid of that), Even if it was that much weaker to notice a difference, I've had the tendency to dislike "the most powerful thing" from old MMO experiences.
but I was able to kill a Frost Ancient Dragon with Icy spear, so stop complaining that your 20 extra damage doesn't fit the lore.

Thanks you guys. I love Skyrim and Bethesda its great but some things just ticked me off. Hopefully Dawngaurd will really improve vampirism and destruction too. Like some folks said there some ironic things in Skyrim that sort of turn you off. Like I whole heartedly agree with the Stormcloaks cause but everytime I hear 'Damn elves!' Its like what the hell. Oh well....

You like Talos, so why would you go to an organisation who supports Sithis?

Honestly? Play a Dark Elf and side with the imperials :/ That way you don't feel out of place and get a fire resistance. Also don't make the mistake of stuffing everything into one playthrough, I've done it before and it doesn't work and isn't fun.

Well, mainly because the dark brotherhood is freaking awesome and Talos lets you shout faster, which I love to do...

You like both but then complain about them, really? It's simple really, USE OTHER ACCOUNTS.. Role-Playing doesn't mean do everything on one account.

Ive thougjt about being a dark elf its just my eyes went big when I saw how magically powerful altmer were with the boosted skills, extra magic and magic regeneration. Then theres dawngaurd coming out and uou can use magic in vampire lord form and it would be extra cool to keep tossing out high power destruction spells for like a minute straight.

I get what you're saying however after around level 20-30 the bonuses don't really mean anything, also the high elf power is good however as it's only once a day it isn't that great :L I heard that as a Vampire Lord health, stamina and magicka all get a boost which is pretty cool... I have an Orc mage/assassin who is pretty good, I think the bonuses are there to help you out in the beginning but mainly for flavor. :D

You want to join the Stormcloaks as High Elven vampire/Dragonborn and you complain that the game is not immersive?

Hint: Don't do everything with one character.
Eh, I do all of that and I never find myself not immersed.

I love Skyrim and it is probably my favourite game of all time, it made so many improvements over Oblivion but there is on weird thing. When I look at Skyrim I feel it should be extremely immersive, however there was something about Oblivion that was just better... I prefer Skyrim but when I played Oblivion I found the role playing aspect a lot more fun but I don't know why... I think it could be because there were a lot more people from each race in Oblivion, which makes sense given Cyrodill's central location, but honestly I'm not really sure...

Might want to put a few spaces in that post OP. I think a few of the words are getting claustrophobic.
