Bethesda you should pay us back!

Congratulations on beginning an absolutely pointless debate about semantics!

Once again, don't cry at me.

EDIT: Thread derailing in progress!

Not crying at all, I'm a happy PC gamer.....However, as a former PS3 player i know exactly what the OP is experiencing as i had the exact same issues.

I understand and fully accept that there are PS3 players out there (yourself included) that are pretty much issue free and that's good for you (no sarcasm intended).

But on the flip side YOU need to accept that there are many PS3 players having serious issues with the game and your constant need to tell them how 'perfect' your game is just aggravates.

Ok dude seriously, not everyone is encountering these problems, its probably just your aged computer or something.
Beth has also fixed a few problems PS3 players had with long term playing, and graphic problems, and so far i havent had any problems since they patched it.

I didn't denounce the fact that he's having issues, as you've previously stated.

If you would take the time to look over what my original post was perhaps you'd use your apparent abilities in grammar (and/or semantics) to make sense of it for yourself.

"My copy for PS3 = Runs perfectly fine."

To quote you, "Well done for showing your intelligence as well as your inability to read before posting uninformed nonsense."

Your post makes no sense, who are you replying to? The OP? if so you think he's having issues because his 'computer' a PS3 is old?

Or is it directed at me a PC player who has not claimed to have any serious issues?

Either way your post makes no sense.

I stopped reading after the aecond sentence. The problem isn't across all PS3s just some. For future reference, maybe you should buy Bethesda's games on PC, they seem to be a little more stable.

So why all of you cant stop criticize each other on forums?
Just search for "skyrim bugs" on google you will see that he is not the only one to complain. No matter if you play on PC Xbox or PS3 the game cost the same price so it must be same quality.
The thing for me that prove that they are not going to really fix this game is the new patch. Have you all seen this???
New kill cams great! Thats why we all asked instead of fixing all the bugs.
Only modders have made a patch for this game thats a shame that people do patch for their games instead of developpers!

On PC the game never freezes.
Wrong. I'm here writing this because the game crashed (after like 10 minutes of play). It constantly crashes for me, almost guaranteed when I get out of the levelup screen. It typically feels like DX9/Gfx issues, but I'm still blaming the game for not being thoroughly checked.

Crashes aside, I'm still enjoying the game, and considering 600+ hours invested, I should pay them more - not them paying me... :P

Rather ironically... I just had my PS3 freeze up attempting to post to this thread. Seems to be working now.

I was wondering if the OP had tried Bethesda's suggested fix for the 1.5 patch water freezing problem. i.e.: delete game data but not save files and reinstall. Aside from fixing the underwater problem, I've found the fairly rare freeze-ups I'd had previously have gone entirely.

I play on the 360, but I have to weigh in on the OP's side. There is no excuse for releasing a major game in such a sorry technical state, on any platform. The thing about consoles is that, while the hardware design is several years old, and therefore more limited than current PCs, it is set in stone. It is a fully known quantity, unlike PCs. This simplifies testing and debugging to an enormous extent, as well as allow much better performance than you might expect, because the systems can be programmed "direct to metal." There is no need for the hardware abstraction layer required on PCs. (I encourage those who may be skeptical or unaware of this to look up articles on the subject.)

While I love Bethesda games overall, I can't give them a pass on their shaky technical track record. They need to improve on it, and they absolutely need to follow their buggy releases with the proper fixes. 1.5 is definitely a step in the right direction, but they have a long way to go.

I hope The next ES game comes out at least 5 years from now. I don't think I could afford it, OR the next gen console.

This would all be true if the problem affected a significant percentage of the PS3 playerbase. We know it doesn't.

i understand your "angry" ,but there is no need to use such a language, neither to open a thread like this here.

I suggest you to ask for a refund directly at your local store explaining your reasons if you've bought recently the game . i'm sure they will understand

Of course if you've played it for months it will be silly asking now for a refund or an exchange with another product.

In this case you can only search for possible solutions to your problems in this forum and the net.

Sometimes such problems are due even to other "technical" reasons, however,as Solitudian have already said to you, there is an apposite Ps3 section here on the forum

http://www.gamesas.com/forum/182-playstation-3/

Time played doesnt equal quality played. The elder scrolls is one of those series that demands a great deal of time before a review should even be tempted. Once again, amount played doesnt equal quality played.
