Time for mods. If you are on console... role-play.

Try siding with different factions and playing different types of characters? I'm on 50 hours into my first play-through, but I can't imaging getting bored any time soon.

If you're bored with the game... Don't play it? It's not going anywhere, you can always come back to it when you feel like playing it again. No point in playing a game if you're not going to enjoy it.

Yeah I'd say just play something else, or do something else. Games can get boring after playing them for a while. You'll probably have the urge to go back to it, happened all of the time with FO3 for me.

I agree with those that say put it down for awhile. I'm 60 something hours into my first playthrough and I took yesterday off to play some NBA 2K10 "my player mode". I'm not "bored" of new vegas, I just got a basketball jones. (Maybe because of how awesome my Lakers look right now?) :D

I have no other video games; I guess I'll have to go outside - I've heard that the graphics are quite good :P

know exactly what you mean. I beat the game and tried re-rolling but I can only play for 5 minutes then I find myself exiting the game because I'm falling asleep. I just can't seem to find the motivation to re-roll in this game.

I don't get how people are bored already.
I am 80 hours in, still haven't completed the main quest, and I am still on my first character.
I am having a blast, wandering the Mojave still. I have only done 1/3 of the quests in this game, and I probably
won't finish them on this playthrough, as I will on my next 3, doing everything differently.

So you are telling me you have done every quest? Discovered every location? Gotten every weapon unique and non-unique? Done everything without using Wiki?

It really makes me wonder, how people play Fallout: New Vegas.
Do they really know how to play this game? Or are they just lying to themselves and saying they will appreciate it?

Well, everyones different I guess. Still makes me wonder, what on Earth are you doing to ruin the game for yourself?

Whoa hold you horses!
There's no real way to play a game, just because you play it slow doesn't mean everyone else does,
Yes - pretty much I have 80% of the trophies and have re-played about 5 times.
I said i was bored; collecting every unique and such would just make me even more bored and ruin my thoughts of New Vegas in the future.

To those that are bored with the game, just go 'Commando'.

How?... well... start at the Mojave Outpost, drop all your gear, all your items, completely naked, nothing on you... and i mean NOTHING.

hardcoe mode on, have minor sleep deprivation, dehydration and starvation, and go... to Bitter Springs.

Good Luck.

Heh I doubt I'll be bored with it, well once I get my xbox back from microsoft. The game kinda killed my xbox. Caused a RROD

Constant freezes and reboots can do that. hopefully they will have a mega patch out when I get it back.
