Troll.

He just posted this thread word-for-word on the official Steam forums, too. There will be no constructive discussion here.

Mods, please lock this thread. Thank you.

I kind of like what they did with the grenades. If a grenade explodes eight feet away from you, it probably isn't going to kill you if you are lucky enough that the shrapnel doesn't hit an artery, but it will definitely turn your world upside down and throw you to the floor. That's the change they made to grenades.

Yeah, you could never stay standing, even if you were a Heavy, if a grenade went off from even that distance. Depending on the explosive (C4 or a satchel charge would be pretty terrible), I'd hate to be a Light because you just might be blown off of your feet.

As for the snipers, I'm disappointed, but sniping probably wasn't going to be a very big part of the game anyway. Indoor snipers?

It's possible, but not very practical considering the accuracy needed and the recoil inflicted.

This man has been selected as User of the Day on the Brink Wiki, everyone. He's just as sharp of a shooter there as he is here. Let's all have a round of applause for -syniistr/havok-

*claps*

*continues applauding for an awkwardly long time*

Thank you, thank you guys *bows deeply*

I agree about grenades, except with the comparrison to the medic's laz grenade which I feel is peculiar. In a game where grenades are not one hit kills so you can't wipe out a team at an objective with one toss they have a grenade that can bring guys back from incap in one shot. Not a problem but I think I would have done without the laz grenade, perhaps using a healing grenade instead.

As for SRs, I still don't think they're going to be as bad as some do, and with low recoil many may just trade for an accurate AR to do the same job.

Please folks don't call someone a troll even if you think they are. Just report the thread. Calling someone a troll will get you warned and suspended in a New York minute around here.

OP: I am sorry but your approach was rather less asking for more information and more of an attack which of course got poor responses. If you want answers to your questions try a more friendly approach.
