good luck pushing down a Heavy as a Light...

kick upwards from slide! the groin is always groin, no matter how big you are :celebration:

I'd love to see that kinda kick (slide+melee). ones who have played mirrors edge probably know what I'm talking about. also shoulder tackle (like sprint+melee) for heavies!! :D

Eiríkur Rauei found Iceland and had a son, Leifur Heppni, who found America. I'm from Iceland.

I've heard something about Operatives having backstabbs, care to explain?

I think I would like if the knifes had a MAG-ish way. Knifing people in the front is not OHK but the back is.

It's by no means impossible in reality for someone waaaaaaaay smaller and less strong or powerful to bring down a much larger/heavier/stronger person. I've seen it and i can i can do it. I train in aikido, combat judo and Brazilian jujitsu. when i went to Malaysia in 2006 to train with my Masters Master, he was 83, just under 5ft tall, and nearly blind. I watched him demonstrate a technique which he had developed himself where he (i swear this is no exaggeration) threw around a Japanese man who was attending the class and he was nearly 7ft tall and well over 100kg just by holding his index and middle finger. He did it by forcing the man off balance through his stance and footwork, not fighting the mans resistance but using it against the man, and the pressure points in the mans fingers, wrist, and arm. its ALLL about technique... If you have the training.

It's not weird if a big guy falls after being hit with a gun butt in his head just because the guy who hit him is light.

No offense, but that sounds like a whole lot of [censored] inspired by Kung Fu Panda :P But hey, maybe it's true. I'm not the one to say.

If they only grabbed one hand of a heavy, I think the heavy would just straight punch him in the teeth.

Has any one thought of the fact of introducing a small selection of knives into the melee arsenal and the possibility (and this is because I read the fact that you would be able to wield a knife and hand gun at the same time) of wielding two knives at the same time?

Speaking of taking them out at the knees and assassinations (from both above and below) ... knife swipe on the slide past perhaps ..... and I still believe one or two extra knives would be realtivly easy in introduce to the animations and spice it up for the light/medium operatives. SMART is here to be utilized and given a full demo to the waiting public

Sounds like an assassination from Halo Reach. Maybe it could be a form of backstab but without a knife.

I for one think a light should be able to jump down and land on a heavy. Riddike style.

the entirety of the thread is melee combat abilities in regards to the SMART movement system. That has been the thread for the last 5 pages of posts.

I take it you didn't read the thread.

I could just plow into you going full speed and tackle you. I'm sure I could get you to topple over.

Too bad you'd be flat on your stomach with my knife in your spine. Didn't think I would hit you from the front did you?

you do know that your situation would be highly unlikely since there appears to be no-one around while i'm a heavy at the frontline?

I don't think your teammates would find it unlikely for a light medic to be running towards you. Though they might be surprised when I tackle you to the ground and leave your corpse on the front lines. Just your friendly neighborhood Op at work.

And the last page was pretty much a discussion about double knives.
