Undeniable proof that the game is too hardcoe. It needs to be more like Battlefield 3, with a man yelling in your face about where to go, what to do, and when to do it. Also, every level is a turret or narrow hallway, so you can't get lost.

Yes. The game svcks because 1 out of a million people can't seem to find their home.

To be fair, the cities are so huge and sprawling with so many residences, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Some of these places have over five homes to eliminate before finding your own one!

1-the OP should have just looked in his/her quest log and inventory a little closer, it's true
2-to be fair to the OP my husband is not a casual or novice gamer and still can never find places he's going because he's very directionally challenged IRL. Seriously. He also tends to make his character walk in circles.
3-This is not a situation Beth needs to address.

How do you furnish it? Get married? I just got the game, hardly slept for two days. I'm love'n it. I didn't get the quest to visit it, don't think. Did go in it, what a dump... thanks

To furnish it talk to Whiteruns Steward, he will sell all the improvement needed. For marriage you need a amulet of Mara, you can buy one at the temple of Mara in Riften. Then find a male or female npc you want to marry, here's the list http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Marriage

For the quest to visit your home you need to activated miscellaneous quest, and under miscellaneous the quest about visiting Breezehome.

Hope's that helped more than a bunch of winning babies who has no other life then to game Skyrim, and then make fun of the people who has other things to do.

Holy [censored], people, simple question with a simple answer. Remember there are likely some younger people playing this sort of game for the first time; not everybody here is an old hand at TES.

Hahaha, I started to leave a calling card on all my victims that I assassinated. I had a ton of iron daggers I didn't feel like enchanting at the time so I'd leave one on each person. Now if I could add a note, "You've been had by....Ace Ventura, Pet Detective"
In my assassin for ever red apple I find I kill a person and leave it on their corpse. No rhyme or reason for it, just a true madman.
